A little taste of that Semiaccurate article that they charge people to read:

Short story, Sony wins the next round and Microsoft looses

So people actually pay to read dogshit from a site that doesn't know the difference between 'looses' and 'loses'.

Well, where there's no leaks smoke, there's no leaks fire...

I had this happen to me for the first time over the weekend. Goddamn spinning circles. 10 minutes I waited before rebooting my console.

Oh snap. This happens to me on one of my consoles all the time. I've googled but got nothing. What's the deal with it? I can get it to stop by hitting the menu and then booting up one of my games from "Recent" (which is usually what I do anyway), and then going back to the dash and it's fine.

This is also the same console that constantly loads up every profile on my console and asks me to choose one, even though I haven't chosen another one in 3 years... and my other consoles have multiple profiles as well.

Is it written by Charlie by any chance?

Damn!! what a pity this is subscriber only!
judging from the above list, clearly it must be an article full of unbiased, privileged inside information.

:)

My biggest hope for this event is that Microsoft is going to show everyone why their system doesn't need to be the most powerful to be good. (useful features, new and interesting IPs, good core and dev support while giving casuals better and more fun things as well.)

The fact that there are conflicting rumors puts it on shaky ground, I know a lot of people are saying the rumor just comes from the Xbox 720 devkits requiring a online connection so Microsoft can monitor their use.

So true. I've got to the point that I'm just going to wait and see what happens in 8 days time. I've invested so much time and money in Microsoft's ecosystem it'll be a sad day if always online is true.

Going to stay hyped and stay positive for now.

Don't disappoint me MS!

I give up, link won't paste

This guy is fucking obsessed with hating Microsoft, Jesus. I'd suggest that maybe there's someone paying him but he also spews endless fecal matter about Windows 8 too so it's not clear who would be. Also astroturfers have to be at least somewhat subtle. Dude is just fuming for whatever reason.

People don't need to be paid to hate something. Most humans do it for free every day.

Of course not. Actually I think the high level of vitriol and low level of intellectual rigour on display probably speaks against it. Why pay someone to write such dross?

House - living room style demos with illumiroom.

CONFIRMED.

Edit: The words 'intimate setting' have been used too.... I fully predict they will walk us through a series of living room demos showing different aspects of the hardware and its abilities in the context of what it means for you at home.

Brilliant if so.

Sadly, he's at least getting paid by the site.

Ah well, it's good that there ARE critics like that, or Microsoft wouldn't have to worry about figuring out how to be good enough to change their minds and the minds of their readers. It all just encourages companies to be better in the end.

If someone wants to harshly criticize and predict doom, that's fine. Personal attacks are where the limit is, though.

Why should Microsoft (or any company) bother figuring out ways to satisfy this kind of critic though? They should be worried about satisfying the average customer, not somebody who is writing articles about how the Xbox 720 is incontrovertibly doomed weeks before it's even announced.
