It wasn't epic. Even if you didn't have to stand there and if you liked cirque it wasn't epic.
 
Who cares how big the tent is, but hopefully they present the console in style.

Considering it was a video game announcement I thought the Kinect reveal was incredible. MS has a history of bringing mainstream big event appeal to their shows. Hell, they had The Beatles show up to one of their conferences.

It appears there's tone change with this reveal and I think that's interesting and I don't see it as a bad thing.

Also, I could be wrong. We'll have to wait and see. :)

The Surface might have a lot of issues and detractors who have no problem vocalizing those issues and shortcomings, but aesthetically...pretty much everyone agrees that the Surface is a beautiful machine, and brilliantly designed. You're just projecting your own distaste on to others by claiming that no one finds it good-looking.

Damn, officially less than 8 days left. It's amazing. I remember me and my brother going back and forth calling each other as far back as 2011 about rumors we were hearing.

Can't wait.
 
Glad I have a busy week this week. Will makes things go a bit quicker.

The next-gen leaks mostly come out at night...mostly.

I'm not sure where I even want them to take it. Half of me wants it to be scarier, and half of me wants them to go super weird and make it even more like Twin Peaks.

I just want what they set out originally for the first game. More open world exploring and seeing the town, more side stuff that is not just collect thermos flasks. I want to see the weird unraveling on a larger scale at a measured but excellently directed pace.

Plus the lighting has to be utterly amazing.
 
If I can play 4/5ths of the exclusives MS makes in my chair, then I'll be happy. Not to say that other 1/5th doesn't have a place, but I likely will play them less than the others. I'm even fine, strike that, excited for the Kinect stuff I can do will I sit.
 
By vertue of it being first, the PS4 conference drained m of much of my enthusiasm for a result that was...solid but not great. My excitement vis a vis Durango is definitely mild (becoming jaded) but I'm still pretty interested in knowing the full specs and the innovations surrounding integrated services, Kinect and live . Well, at least we will see a box.

See, I knew that the PS4 wouldn't be super big, because they still have E3 to do stuff. They played it safe with some sequels and general games that everybody would like (a game for all people in Knack, a driving game in DriveClub), and I think you'll see the very interesting and creative stuff at E3. Not sure if MS is going to do the same or not.
