Just felt like mentioning that when I originally saw the protagonist of SMT4, I thought he was female.

I think I realized a key problem with SMT IV's protagonist. As much as I like his design, he doesn't seem to have much of a will.

Hitoshura and even Soul Hackers' protagonist look like people who could really take a beating in a fight. Flynn looks just blase about everything.

I think the contrary, but is probably because to me Flynn looks more like P4 MC .

I imagine the mission structure is similar to Strange Journey's and basically exists more as gentle guide/reminder of what you're supposed to be doing.

Here are some more impressions about SMT4 from a dude that played the Japanese demo, which apparently was different from the previous demo. The most important thing is that the Black Samurai (which is a Black Demonica suit) is equippable armor. So. You know. You're gonna wanna wear that.

Yeah apparently the demo the other people played at the Atlus event had demons deal 50 damage...and your MC had 80 HP. Oh shit. I guess this one was on easy mode and the other was on normal.

Oh man, I haven't played a game in a long time, but I'm so hyped for SMTIV, especially after reading all these impressions. Just have to buy a 3DS.... I'm afraid it won't see much use otherwise though.
