Next Xbox Reveal Set For May 21, 10:00 A.M. PST, Livestreamed

I like the idea of sharing games as well as having 4 pack pre-order deals like those on Steam. I doubt we'll get either, but it's something both Sony and MS should look into at some point.

integration with Outlook/hotmail/skydrive would be nice
game activation like steamworks for digital games: You can buy digital games from other places than MS app store

- instant startup (from the "always on" feature)
- dashboard customization (at least tiles, I don't care if theme and background are to be bought, I think I'll be fine with default settings)
- voice controls as standard, if possible with natural language. And I hope some commands will work to get in or out of low power mode ("xbox wake up !"). Best case scenario, we could customize the keyword, but I'm not getting too much hope for that.
- gesture controls as standard
- multitasking : fast switch between applications, split screen, picture in picture... The best use for that would be to swap between a browser/youtube app and a game. You could access FAQs/walkthroughs while you play, play while waiting for an event to start in the browser, ...
- Skype integration. It could be another app in the multitasking environment, or included like the current chat.

The spec rumors/leaks have been very consistent from source to source. Even Arthur Gies agrees that the specs that have leaked are correct.

However all leaks are from a February 2012 spec sheet. So the leaks are a year old. Yeah I know they can't change a lot without delaying or pouring more money into the project, but Sony did surprise everyone with 8GB.

i really dont remember any official slide with ms saying x360 could do 1tf but maybe im wrong

what im trying to saying...is more logic seeing the past of ms consolse (always been powerful)...think that they will not let go sony with 30% or more power...(expecially seeing that they didnt spent money in r&d and their bad financial situation)

maybe the vgleaks docu r right but there r around differents design?
maybe they was planning to change something in the console before and the leak came out didnt point at that?

there r millions things that we dont know and that we dont see in vgleaks

360 soc where it is?!?!? ...but also vgleaks (taking the rumor from a pastebin) think there will be on ein the motherboard

paul thurrot talk about different skus....a sort of xtv with x360 game capabilities
the x720 (durango) and another one with no game capabilities (i dont remember what thurrot codename give to it) ...we know 100% that vgleaks diagram is durango?!

the truth is ms is a 256 billions marketcap company sony is a 19 one......both works in different markets...not just in gaming consoles....one being in red for 4 years ...one not...
but ppl thinkin that ms is going cheap to save money ...and the company with enormous economical problems....goint all out...(meanwhile sell headquarters around the world and cuttin jobs in the last year 1/5 - 10000 emplyes of their manpower)

i dont know what r ms marketing strategies...but if u ask me...if there is a time to hit hard..the rival..(in this case sony) ..this was the right time
..but maybe they dont see sony as a threat as many of us think?

for this reason..guys i dont know but...when ill see this ill drink it....ok? can we wait day 21?

We have discussed this to death before. Previous gen was all about different architectures, designs and made up theoritical bullshit flops. This gen is completely the opposite.

That's not how it works - powerful hardware has never won out a generation so far. Microsoft has realized this after the original Xbox and I see them continuing the same successful strategy.

That's not how it works - powerful hardware has never won out a generation so far. Microsoft has realized this after the original Xbox and I see them continuing the same successful strategy.

drink that ms is letting go sony with 30/40% of more power ...
i wanna see how this consoel work in real world performance...

xbox was powerfull

x360 want at all cheap...lol the architecture was great!......they saved lots of money not adopting blueray..or built in wifi...etc etc...not in the architecture (that was comparable to ps3).....blueray and wifi dont impact console performances (and if we must say the truth dvd help the perfomance ..with higher reading speed)

they refer to it as "360" and when they hear the word "xbox" they think "360". It needs a subtitle. Not to mention how dumb it will look in the history of these systems if it goes xbox>xbox 360>xbox
