The Retro FPS is actually Perfect Dark 2, Nintendo having bought the IP from Microsoft!

i heard they've secured the Chrono IP and are developing an exclusive RPG on the scale of Skyrim. it'll be the highest budgeted video game title to date and they're going to kick off the release with a major feature film developed by Studio Ghibli with input by the Coen Brothers.

Everyone wants Retro to be making a futuristic FPS? Since when? I thought the Nintendo faithful took pride in the fact that their developers don't jump on the same, overcrowded AAA bandwagon everyone else does. Well, if true, I hope they at least offer a single player campaign as good as Prime 1.

And their "details" about Mario aren't descriptive at all. Sounds like fluffy PR talk.
 
I suspect we'll be hearing about how every character Namco have ever produced a game of is definitely going to be in the next Smash Bros.

Most of all? I want a true sequel to Donkey Kong '94 for Wii U or 3DS. Next year will be the 20th anniversary. It's time.

You're engaging in a noble art form (did you know rumours predate medicine?!) and this is simply unacceptable form -- you have a long heritage of "move the box 128 times on the pirate ship in Jolly Roger's Bay and then jump into the waterfall to unlock Luigi" to live up to and you give something consumers might actually want?!

Goku in Smash would be awful...just...awful...

I mean if you're going to put in some random non-video game character with video games- Batman is right there damn it.
 
Well I like these rumors heh ,and like all rumors they are fun to discuss but should be taken with a grain of salt as I am. But man if they did come true would be some epic stuff.

I think whatever they're going to do will be great. I mean if you want to just put a blah label on stuff, Metroid Prime is just a futuristic FPS.
 
I don't even like them putting in characters by other developers but anime guys? Lol no.

I hope they make non nintendo characters dlc or give you the option to turn them off like they do with items and stages.
 
Vegeta will always be better. But I like the rumors if true. Super Mario 64-like overworld but in HD with 120 stars. Would be awesome. Retro is doing another Metroid or a new FPS game to be a halo killer (it won't be but yeah).

Unless of course, Iwata announces the game by saying "Super Mario 3D U is the biggest we've made and the biggest you'll ever see."
 
Horrible lies and anybody wanting anime/manga characters in Smash are forgetting its a video-game crossover. (It was stated in Brawl also that third-party characters would have to be from videogames) Get your filthy Shonen paws offa' Smash Bros.
 
B will be the KAMEHAMEHA
Forward B will be dragon fist- a dragon comes from his fist
Up B will be super Saiyans acencsion- he ascends to super Saiyans and fly's up
down b will be I don't know yet
FINAL SMASH will be the spirit bomb cause like how could it not be??
 
Doesn't Namco have the DBZ license (at least for games)? Goku appearing really wouldn't be any more surprising than Snake in Brawl.
