Skullgirls DLC Character vote | The Campaign united us, The Voting will destroy us

For any new game they make it would be preferable if most of the playable cast are people who haven't been used yet. It probably would be better to not have someone from the fighting game at all because of favoritism whining.

There's already an accepted favorite according to an early poll, Peacock.

Just replicate her Medici rampage from her ending in playable format - and if it feels too much like a shooter because of her projectiles, make Andy and Tommy separate playable characters, it would be like a backwards implementation of Captain Commando.
 
The brawler should be an original IP. I wouldn't want a Skullgirls brawler, that'd be boring. I want something unique for the genre, not a spin-off.

Sadly no matter what even using the most popular character won't stop the whining because her popularity isn't even 80%.

Should we expect the DLC for Xbox next week?

Sony previously told us that they wouldn't be able to do it today, so Konami set the 360 release date to next week. Now they're scrambling to get it put back to this week.

Playing through the tutorial stuff now and I have to say, this game is fun as hell when it doesn't make me feel inadequate for not being proficient with a 6 button layout. The tutorials are murdering me because I play far too much Mahvel 3. :lol

I wish there was another color that covered her top a bit more, but at least she gets more leg coverage in this pack, just a personal preference that feels more practical.

Double's all monochrome, not bothering.
 
Parasoul's DLC color 3 should be Megurine Luka, the Vocaloid character.

I wanna say the Valentine's DLC Color 2 is also a Leona reference, this time to her old-school outfit, but I could see myself being wrong on that one...
 
But Leona's classic outfit is green not brown though.

THAT is what I'm saying looks like Leona's "C" color in the pic.

Leona's one of my favorite all time KoF Characters, so I'll try my best not to miss even the smallest reference to her!

And I wanna say that's Rosa too... Along with Fortune having a Blue Mary-style color with the Patch, she's the SNK fans reference character of choice, haha. (I always wanted to see Rosa make it into KoF...)
 
Someone at /sgg/ is comparing pink hair Valentine with Haruko Haruhara from FLCL in that one time she dressed as a nurse, but the the brown bits in this palette I'm not too sure...

I'm certain that's what it's in reference to, I remember bringing up that it seemed like an appropriate palette when I saw it wasn't in originally.

Edit: misread, the fourth one with the lighter pink hair is definitely Haruko.
 
Pay special attention to the blocking and grab tech tutorials.

This one especially caught me off guard. Took me a while to get used to how moves should be input post jump-in and how wide the throw tech windows were in a poke throw (tick throw) setup in SG. The actual high-low blocking though wasn't too bad coming from Quarters vs. Dimes 3: Fate of Two Coin Flips.

Silly momentum-based crossups on top of fly/unfly high-lows. And of course dat air grab if you try and chicken block out of the Blender of Sadness™. No Marvel 3 throw optionselects for you.
 
Sloth, I haven't even ventured online yet, I'm still screwing around in tutorials wondering why my fingers turned all hammy trying to get this air dash cancel combo with Filia.

LOL you think that way now, but SG is like being face to face with Two face. The resets and high low game is pretty strong for a game that has unblockable protection.

Just make it a habit to go through the tech tutorial bi-weekly. Getting that timing down will save you a lot of grief from grabs and don't forget to constantly block low when on the ground (be careful because there is no crouch tech in this game).
