Interesting. Would it be reasonable to assume, then, that any copy of Bioshock 2 I pick up for Steam would then be updated if they do actually remove the GFWL? I wouldn't be required to buy a different copy of Bioshock 2 right?
I'm sure that's obvious, but I'm still fairly new to Steam and don't know all of their practices. Has GFWL been patched out on other games in the past?
Ah ok, I'll wait to see how it's looking when Steam's Winter sale starts up. Just got interested in it after playing through and beating Infinite after having only played Bioshock 1.

I've played both. Personally I like regular All-Stars (which I own on 360) a little better than Transformed (which I own on Wii U), but (and it's a big one) All-Stars doesn't have online play on PC and Transformed does.
It feels so weird not buying anything on a sale...

I bought the Sonic Action Pack for $9.99 (which includes the first Sonic Racing) and am wondering if I should shell out the $7.49 to get the Sonic Transformed Racing too.
yep, you can tell because on the product page near the title it says "DRM: Steam"
This is all five series with 10 games each.
If you have them all already however, then yes, this is exactly the same.
I guess the answer to the question is "Do you have 50 Sega Genesis games?"

Max Payne 3 and LA Noire complete for only $10 sounds dreamy as hell, so I'm definitely picking that up at the end of the month. I've heard negative things about both (although I have played LA Noire and definitely understand the flaws) but I still look forward to them. I enjoyed LA Noire on the xbox, but never beat it, and I heard Max Payne 3 has great gun-play (but annoying cutscenes).
Fuck my wallet, Amazon. Fuck that wallet hard. :|

It should run good for you. I've got a 5770, Phenom II X3 720 and 8GB of RAM and SR3 runs just fine at 1920x1080 with most everything maxed out.

Hmm... Sonic Racing Transformed for $7.50 is quite tempting, but I haven't played the first game yet, and I think I'll definitely get that one (in the pack with Sonic Generations and other less interesting stuff (Sonic 4? Not sure if I care, and I have those Genesis games on the actual system.). If Sonic Racing Transformed is going to be on sale for even cheaper later this summer, I don't know if it'd be worth getting today...

I think it's a steal at $7.49. The game is filled with a ton of content, and the PC port is really solid.
Not sure if it has been mentioned already but S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat is $2.00 right now as well, the only downside is that it's standalone, no Steam code included.
