well it would be nice to have something to use my vita for?
Actually no it wouldn't - every time it turn it on the disgusting OS makes me want to vomit. The device looks really cool but the OS looks really cheap and childish.
The XMB with the new features from Vita added would have been better in every respect.
i dont see this strategy work too but sony is trying to save this megaflop

seem that devs r not risking to spend time workign for that device
and i dont see sony pushing their first party towork on vita games when theres the ps4 a the door

As far as the box/UI/services go, MS is the innovator, so no surprise really. Sony has their games, but their box/UI/etc is bland.

It might be a megaflop but they make money on every device sold. Sony won't be putting that hardware out to pasture anytime soon.

But you're right. MS has been kicking ass and have made the Xbox name synonymous with gaming which is pretty impressive.
You're sourcing 2yr old articles. Things change, manufacturing gets cheaper. Anyway, I don't have any proof to corroborate my claim so I'll be quiet.

Apart from several years where the Wii creamed it, you are spot on.
I guess I'll make some next gen predictions.
Xbox:
- infinity
- deal with more channels, but not a full of cable thing
-200$ with 2 yr sub. 500 $ full console. I predict both consols will be at most 500$
-no gears, no halo, no kameo, no PD.
- my most bold prediction is free online gaming.
-kinect will be faster and get us excited about it.
-FIFA, madden bf4 nba will look surprisingly good.
- controller will be essentially the same, but with a windows button in middle for sharing and shit.
-cant decide if they will show or save the console for e3, my guess is show it now.
- (wishfull thinking, integration with xbmc)
-the zombie shooter game will be the most exciting game of the show, will have some sort of revolutionary multiplayer idea.

I really appreciate how MS handle the North American home console gaming share, but if they cared about overseas that would be great.

Aw man, I already have the GiantBomb, IGN and GT post shows setup and now Major Nelson? I guess I'll need to borrow another device from someone. I guess I'm gonna be watching four screens at once.
Was anyone else underwelmed at the car models? The close ups of some of the textures looked pretty bad to me.
GT will probably have reactions from journalists and some devs. Major Nelson will probably show more game demos, box and some devs.
GiantBomb will have Vinny though and that beats all else.

It's hilarious how many views that video has.
Only thing I didn't like about that video was the thing mocking of the infamous presentation. Superhero comics and movies talk about the abuse of authority a LOT, it's not a stretch to want to make a superhero game exploring said themes.
I mean, it was a really hammed up presentation, but I think that fact itself is funnier rather than the fact it was about a superhero game.
I was amazed at how many sharp edges I could see. Barely looked as good as Forza 4 or GT5.

If your comparison is to the photo modes in F4 and GT5 then maybe, but Drive Club gameplay graphics are at a whole other level.

I think they're making fun of the way the message was delivered, which was indeed hilariously bad.
Well that's fine, but the punchline was the fact that the game was about superheroes, which in my mind doesn't cheapen the exploration of the themes they were talking about. I mean, I don't hate the video because of that joke, but it just kinda bothers me a little bit. Superhero comics get really heavy sometimes, and even with The Dark Knight being out, lots of people don't recognize that.
That said, I WAS laughing at that presentation when I first saw it.

I didn't know Halo 4's multiplayer mode(s) all fell under the Infinity branch in the menu until today. I wonder if that's a funny coincidence or something else.
