Well it doesn't seem like there will be memory bottlenecks on either platform.
OK, I need some help guys. I posted before but I don't think anyone noticed.
I'm leaving tomorrow for Disneyland in California (From B.C, Canada) and I'd like to know any details about watching the event there including:
-What specific time zone is Disneyland Cali in, and what does that mean for the broadcast time there?
-What channel is Spike TV on in that area?
-In the event that I can't use the internet while there, is there going to be a pre-show on Spike?

They're doing whatever is needed for making up not having a exotic CPU like in previous console generations.

So if a specific company, Let's call them Macrohard, were to feel that their initial rumored GPU compute setup may have not been enough to handle the grunt of the compute tasks in front of them, an increase in CUs would be a manageable solution to their problem?

It doesn't sound insane. 8GB would still go to games with MS going insane with the OS or other functions in theory.

nah if they go to 12 i want 9 for game. 9/3 split i think.
it's rumored that of the 3gb reserved 1gb is in limbo, they havent decided what to do with it yet it could go back to games eventually making a 6/2 split. with 12gb they could keep that 1gb back and still have more than plenty.

This would just theoretically go to the OS. Durango always targeted 8GB.
And that "slow ram" would make a blazing fast OS if true.

I have some fond memories of the Xbox like when I first got Halo 1 working. The first time I played it was at a friends house in December '01 and our first match online was a 2v1 on Hang 'Em High. The guy was Camo pretty much the entire match and we thought he was cheating lmfao
When I finally got it working at my house OMFG those feels... XBC found my box and when I went into System Link BAM!, magic happened. I was a young teenager still wet behind the ears without a damn clue the journeys I would be taking for years to come.

What I think is... there's 2GB of ram in Surface RT, even if The OS don't need 2GB.
Then:
2GB = WinRT apps
1GB = reserved for streaming and system things (just like PS4)
5GB = games
Just guessing.
