Although I must admit that an older woman with an eyepatch DOES sound more aesthetically pleasing, yes.
The man has inspirations from the "Macho Man" and "The Ultimate Warrior". Plus Ravidrath has compared the character to Kamina from Gurren Lagaan. I don't think we have to worry about a boring character.
On another note, how long did it take Alex to make that art? They knew Eliza won after like two days of the week long final Round One vote so they had plenty of time to do the art (the Eliza pic is MUCH more elaborate than the Beowulf pic). However they only knew Beowulf won like when earlier today? Last night? That's really quick turnaround no?

Well we got the characters we got instead of them. I doubt we are getting 3 more DLC characters after we're done from the other 5.

Technically, Duck King was the Annie of Gamest, but I know what you mean. Sometimes I lie awake at night and wonder which characters Billy and Yamazaki beat out in Neo Geo Freak and Famitsu.
Overall, this whole voting campaign stuff has been pretty fun to watch. Now we just have to wait and see how the shoe drops tomorrow, when everyone has a chance to think about what they've done.
Squiggly looks better every time I see her on stream, and the new stuff that's been demonstrated on stream looks great, so I'm pretty excited about the updates that'll come out further down the line, too.

They are, but as long as the ability for Lab Zero to pay it's employees to do the work for the characters remains up in the air, then so does the fate of those 3.
