I don't want to interact with my TV beyond FF, Pause, Rewind, Play. People are running away from Cable/Satellite. Not towards them. I hope I'm completely misreading what their plans are, but if it involves interacting with cable TV...snooooooze. Nintendo tried that with TVii. If they've signed contracts to allow ala carte channel purchases, I'm onboard.

If InteractiveTV = Kinect I don't want. I want some TV integration, but the Sesame Street with Kinect is not for me.

The infrastructure required for Microsoft's theorized plans for the next generation of Xbox LIVE and related services I think is quite complicated so to fully communicate in a meaningful way how it works I believe a dedicated video or session is required. It will probably be mentioned and/or shown briefly though.

Fight Night 3 was out the day I got my HD tv and forgot to switch the 360 to HD. So I was playing it and STILL amazed. Then about 6 hours later I found out I hadn't switched the back of the 360.

It was an OH SHIT moment.

I know that feel! I remember playing PGR 3 and was wondering why the game was looking not as sharp as on the Samsung HD Ready TV in the store.

But then I switched on the HD-TV slider on the component cable, it was a game changing experience man, that clarity! I was not used to HD images on a console.

Already 7 years ago... I'm so ready for the next-gen consoles.

While I'd be inclined to agree, they will certainly try and make more aggressive moves in Europe with their services this gen, so I'm willing to wait and see on that one.

I didn't even notice that. I just had a nice Sony Wega 27 inch HD. And thought Fight Night 3 looked amazing. But on the switch I had to rejigger the word amazing

Yeah, I'm curious to see who will make that game, and what genre it will fall under. It would have probably been easy for Epic to make another FPS, but Gears' mechanics changed TPS forever.
