Yeah so if it looks like I haven't add you yet but you've added me, either just post in here or PM me. :P

My friend list is gonna be fat going into this, it was so puny before lol.

I actually don't know if she's back in New Leaf (as they added some old villagers who were cut, if I remember correctly). but I really hop so :D

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! This is officially the best game ever. YES, CHERI! If any of you get her I will be visiting you like crazy trying to convince her to move to my toen! Whether you like it or not, muhaha

And she got a brand new sunflower shirt, too! You are rocking it, Cheri! HELL YEAH

Oh man this brings back memories. Cheri <3

Yeah going through Kyle's drawings has been awesome.

Also I'm pretty sure everyone that we add from this thread will obey proper visitor etiquette. I know I will at least.

Aw, thanks. I promise not to spam awesome drawings too much! :)

No guarantees.

I trust ACGAF to behave in towns.

Hey, I added a lot of people from this thread. Thanks to those who added me (may) back. :) If I missed you, please let me know.

kyle, your notes are great haha.

I cant change the mole man I have a reputation going

I can add somethin to it tho, maybe make it look like that fucker resetti

Really looking forward to it. Skipping out on the Wii version allowed for a nice break from the series, but I can't wait to jump back in. Especially with work and life schedules now, it seems like the perfect game to just play for a little bit every day and relax.

the Wii version really does suck man

at least in terms of disappointment

the only good I got out of it is that it's the game that got my Ex-GF into Animal Crossing and more games in general

we did break up tho so.. game was worthless in the end

lol

This game is hopefully my gateway into getting the fiancee into playing some of the DS games I like. She already digs the Sims, so hopefully that's a good starting point.

Basically I just want her to play Phoenix Wright.

The only downside about the Wii version was the 5-10 seconds of loading when you enter and leave a building.

Entering. AND. Leaving.

Any. Building.

Nope.

I'm planning to play this game with my wife. Anyone have any thoughts as to whether it'd be more fun to play on one copy and thus share the same town that we get to build up and customize together, or get 2 copies/2 3ds's so that we can occasionally fish/adventure at the same time?

I'm gonna use Kicks (is that his name? the shoeshine guy) as my avatar. If anyone else uses it already, so sorry. Please tell me and I'll change it :D

I don't think bedhead returns this time, unfortunately. A ton of other hairstyles are available, though!

Oof..guess I'll settle for the 'Date' hair, or it's spiritual successor, Listless.

There will be a table flipped if my purple-eyelid eyes don't return, however!

Edit: Phew.

Should Nintendo add animal-like characters from its other games to Animal Crossing?

Nintendo has quite a few franchises under its wings. And some of these characters are more or less animals, similar to the characters of Animal Crossing.

Fox McCloud
Yoshi
Koopa Troopa
Some bipedal Pokemon (I'm not a Pokemon expert but something like Lucario or Pichu)

These don't have to be neighbors. Fox McCloud could just be a traveling visitor like Redd. Yoshi already looks like some characters in Animal Crossing, but Koopa Troopa wouldn't be a stretch either.

Pokemon would be a little weird. Most of them probably don't fit well with the style of the game. Pikachu has made appearances as a talking mouse thing in games like PokéPark.

This isn't completely unprecedented. Wart Jr. the frog is an allusion to Wart from Super Mario Bros. 2.

It's not like Animal Crossing is otherwise a beacon of innovation. Am I crazy here? I think it would be cool to see some of these as cameos in Animal Crossing.

Ahh... I want this so bad... Wild World consumed me for a year and a half. I played it EVERY single day for at least a year straight.

I never know what to name my town, though... always comes out corny.

I don't know any of the villagers' names yet. =/ I think a fun idea would be Pyjama Link carrying a gyroid, but I lack those skills.

I think it would be more fun to have two copies. Only one person gets to be the mayor per town, and it's more personal that way. It means you'd always have somewhere else to visit too.

Yeah! And, if you needed time to buy the second copy, she can play on yours as a citizen, and then transfer her person to a new game as a mayor when she gets the game.

I've added everyone that listed their FC in the thread. Gonna repost mine just in case: 0731-4978-9603

I've never actually been in the hype loop for an Animal Crossing game before, I got all of them a while after release, and I never really looked into them beforehand. It's exciting!
