-Type 0 Vita announced for western markets and Versus XIII (or renamed as XV) announced for this year showing gameplay
-FFVII remake
-Chrono Trigger sequel with the people from the original game

Agni's Philosophy looks nice but also can be smoke like Versus XIII so won't count with it until I see gameplay and a close release date.

I think Agni's Philosophy is just a tech demo.

Plenty of GAF must have played Type 0, is it any good? I thought the demo was quite cool.

It's a fantastic game.

Sad thing is it's the best game out of the entire FNC mythos to date. And I guess they kept it in Japan because of how it makes XIII series look like crap.

I doubt if Microsoft even cares for Square Enix after they failed in the Japanese market. The Xbox Conference will mostly focus on Western titles, i think.

The staff have spoke openly about KH3 for some time now. This is from an interview I had with co-director Tai Yasue last year:

RPG Site: Nomura-san recently shared his desire to return the series to consoles. Could you comment on that?

Yasue: I really can’t, but what I can say is that Kingdom Hearts 3D is directly connected to Kingdom Hearts 3 so if you play it, you’ll get a rough idea of the future in the secret movie for example. A lot of the gameplay, as I mentioned earlier will be taken to those future games as well.

I am sure that the secret ending of DDD for 3DS hinted at Kingdom Hearts 3(Or perhaps another new KH game).

Andriasang had something from a few years ago too talking about how it's time KH came back to consoles, and how KH 3D is directly setting up KH3, and how gameplay ideas in KH3D were tests for KH3's new gameplay. Then there's the HD re-releases which are the perfect thing to get people caught up for KH3. Julien Merceron let slip a while ago that KH is being worked on in Crystal Tools on some French FF site.

I don't have proof or anything, but they've made it sound like KH3 is absolutely being worked on. I wouldn't be surprised by a reveal for it at any time really. Seems like it would be next gen now that it's taken this long though, or PS3 / Wii U.

I'm kind of glad they've taken this long now though. They can stick in Star Wars since it's now a Disney property!

-The Chrono series is finished, dead, burried. Leave it where it is.
-Frankly, it makes me sad to see the KH series being so important to SE nowadays. I have never been grabbed it, i think its success is mainly due to Disney side of the games rather than the SE side.

No the only thing of interest coming from this company is VersusXIII at least to me. That one is going to be very important for the future of the franchise, critically especially.

But seriously . despite the fact that it was 8 months old i think SE wanted to show on stage that what was shown truly could run on PS4 hardware and is not just a prerendered cgi scene .

Didn't Epic show their same old UE4 demo too? That was the opening of the whole Sony PS4 conference and no one cared.

I think Versus is going to do much damage to GAF than KH would. I don't get the feeling it's held in a high regard on GAF generally.
