Right there with you, brother. It's going to be good!

We know it's 499$ and huge.

Now this may sound like very poor reasoning, but even assuming kinect is bundled, 499$ hints at a more powerful console than the x360 was when it launched. Huh ? How's that ? Eh ?
OK, I got nothing.

there will be no disappointment .....:) we will be very very happy

Kayle...anche tu ora ???? :-P

the only way I see them increasing the CUs is if they originally had more on the chip but were disabling some to improve yields. If yields are ok or MS are willing to take the short term cost impact, they may opt to keep more/all of them enabled. So eg if they had 16 CUs originally but disabled 4, they might now have all 16 active.

Yup as long as people don't expect it to make the PS4 look like WiiU. Then again, more interesting would be their strategy when it comes justifying keeping Live, at least the ability to play online, behind pay wall. But I expect some gaffers will do the defending for them anyway.

Good times up ahead.

why are people setting themselves up for disappointment hyping pastebin spec leaks?

just see for yourself when COD is splashed across your TV.

Yeah i dont get it, the vg leaks and EDGE info are more reliable then some random pastebin that anyone could of done.

its like some ppl want ppl to be disappointed!

Well dont do to yourself ppl the vgleaks and edge leaks have more credibility then this new random pastebin.

1.23TFLOP GPU
8gb DDR3
8 core jaguar

and hopefully awesome games WITH visually parity with most PS4 games

dont believe in this hype propaganda,

Believe in realistic hype.

They'll ensure it's still the best online service on consoles.

Shouldn't be too hard considering how ahead they are already.

I just don't think they're not going to make a big, noisy box. It just goes completely in the face of the whole idea of competing with Apple and Google for the living room in the coming years.

Xbox live event player was perfect last time I used it, very high quality and flawless.

I'll watch the reveal on my 50" and try browsing GAF on my tablet.

Before it devolves into pros and cons, I'd simply say that it's true when it comes to certain features innate to XB360 but PSN+ is at par if not better in terms of content. But both are irrelevant considering we are talking about the next gen and Sony will have learned its lessons pertaining to online integration and how integral it is to sales, in god's country, at least. And this app business seems like it may be common to both platforms. So, it'll be interesting to see how MS can differentiate itself going forward.

Waiting for Tuesday is driving me crazy. I've held off on buying a bunch of multiplats lately while waiting to hear if one of these boxes will have BC in it. At least they'll be cheap at this point.

Less than two days.

I want specifications details.
I want more variety in games than shooters.
I want at least three games shown - don't care if we've seen them before.
I want little to no Kinect information. Save it for E3.
I want to see the console and controller.
I want to hear about their new OS.
I want to hear about how they are revolutionizing Xbox Live.

Damn, just saw the time for this. Sometimes I'm still sleeping by 10:00AM. Looks like I got to set the ol'e alarm.

Forcing people to pay to correct mistakes in their service like auto-updates and trophy sync doesn't sound like they've learnt many lessons to me.

App situation won't be the same. MS have been building their catalogue of apps up over the last two years and have probably more than 50 apps right now. By comparison the apps on PS3 can be counted on one hand. They've got a lot of work to do to catch up with the XBL App ecosystem.

For some reason I believe the leaked specs and not to sound crazy;I wish the PS4 specs were lower because then I wouldn't have to worry about upgrading my PC. I'm such a cheapass.

BTW, is this going to be streaming on YouTube live or Gamespot? Where's the best place to watch this?

You're setting yourself up for disappointment. Kinect 2.0 is a big part of their strategy -- it's going to be a major component in how they depict their vision for the next generation.

and if MS do go with some kind of Windows 8/RT option for Durango, the app situation will rapidly become very one-sided.

I'm quite surprised with that to be honest. Sony's smart TVs have needed content for a few years now, so you'd have thought they'd have a better line up of apps. But even samsung and LG are shaming them in that market too

We're not going to get any pricing news or anything like that. We'll get the console itself, it's modus operandi, maybe a quick look at the OS like Sony's unveiling, a few games and save the rest for E3.
