I mean, I know that it's too early for a new Halo game, but I still wouldn't mind some type of tease that the game is coming. People will troll and say more Halo, yada yada yada, but I don't really give a damn. I love the games, and I can't wait for the next one.

Sony didn't show the console box and there was no hands on. If Microsoft is holding an event in house, it will be because of the optimal security conditions. Because of that, it is reasonable to assume that there will something shown there Microsoft doesn't want to leak into public. Maybe journalists will go hands on after all?

Damn! Still have a few achievements to get in it myself, but it's my favorite Halo campaign (CEA does come close).

Firefight is stupidly fun though, don't think there's a split-screen coop game that gives feels quite like Halo.

I frankly don't understand the mindset which allows people to be convinced that rumors and unconfirmed "leaks" published by Kotaku, Edge, et. al., are worthy of belief, yet forget that Microsoft has never allowed a competitor's videogame console to outclass their system , in terms of power and/or capability. Why would Microsoft suddenly allow Sony a decided performance advantage in this new generation? The logical answer is that they haven't.

you forget that the xbox was MS's trojan horse in the living room,

even if the rumored specs are true, the system wont be 'outclassed' by the PS4 some sony 1st party games may do and some 3rd party may have 30% more pixels.

They want to own the living room, they want a box that has premium movies+music, premium social and premium games.

these specs are capable of delivering those things, and I Believe these rumors because they have more credibility then others and they also tie in to that powerpoint document and MS's strategy.

they may wrong, but out of all the rumors these have the best chance in being right.

personally in winning a console war I think, newness factor (see wii and kinect)and price are a lot more important then the best graphics.
