Let's say for the sake of argument that they will reveal either the console or its specs in this event and reveal the other one 2 weeks later at E3 to keep the hype going.

That would be cool. I'd also like to see a Twitter feed of some sorts where we can follow certain people who upload written or video reviews. Put a new spin to the whole ratings within Xbox Live.
Can't be much more than increase in resolution (image, textures, etc.) - everything else would be a huge cost increase.

Skype is one of the things that we know is almost definitely going to be in it that I'm, most excited about it. Chatting with anyone, not just other people with Xbox consoles, who uses the Skype service while I play games is a huge step up from Party Chat. Not to mention video-chat capabilities.

Also gives an avenue to do "Let's play" and tutorial videos with Game companies getting ad revenue etc instead of filling twitch and googles coffers
Maybe there will be a built in video editor and people can make machinima right on the system
BF4 looked really impressive.
If DICE can make a next gen engine and downport BF4 to 360/ps3 why cant infinity ward do the same with COD:ghosts?

It was an ex-demo pod from a videogame store. Never got used so the owner sold it to me.
Got a bit of a bargain, too. FM3 Playseat, seat slider, branded floor mat, shifter mount, TV mounting frame, 32" Sharp HD LCD, Sony surround sound (since traded in for Yamaha), Logitec G27 wheel/shifter/pedals (since traded for the Fanatec stuff), a couple of new games and new HDMI cables and some other gubbins, all for £300. Ridiculously cheap.

That makes a lot more sense then. I'm not completely against it, but I don't dig it as much as Xbox or Xbox Infinity. Just a name though.
I'm sure they've long been working on their next-gen tech. Games will have much better lighting and physics, more complex shaders and detailed models or whatever from the off.
Yeah, I think it was around £1,500 value.
Best thing I ever bought. Totally transforms racing games.

I don't know much about Skype so please forgive me. What is the difference between video chatting on Skype and two people who have a 360 and Kinect cameras? I always thought Skype was a free service but I see looking at that shows you can get a $10 prepaid card and going to the actual Skype website it says it cost money to make calls overseas. Doesn't a 360 and Kinect do the same thing as far as video chatting?
Wasn't there some recent news on this and copyright stuff and Nintendo?
