I've been randomly typing in industry emails into the xbox events website so see who has been invited. Only found Stephen Totillo so far

Tuesday Morning. I'm getting up at 5am... rushing kids to schools. Rushing back to get pre-show in. Tent Event and praying for AW2 reveal and lots of awesomeness. Then rushing back to other side of town to grab kids after school. Rush back once again to get in on post-show and possible NeoGaf craziness.

I don't want to harp on it anymore because this isn't the place for it, but if you're reading this now Bacon, then let me say we'll miss you. For the event, and forward.

So, with that said, we're about a day away from this thing finally. I can't believe it. It feels like it's been an eternity since ekim was digging around for possible domains and stuff. It was great when we finally had a date to look forward to. Made it a lot more real.

Here's hoping that they blow our socks off tomorrow!

I thought at one point we weren't even going to get an event and they'd coast along to E3, glad they decided against that!

Nah, Sony's pre-E3 event basically confirmed they were going to do some kind of pre-E3 event in response.

Sony did one and it was a massive success...it's only natural that they'd do one as well.

I think we're going to get a lot more info and second-hand coverage by outlets compared to the PS4 event (the playable demo stations kind of allude to this) so I'm not worried about the time-constraint. I think they just want to make the best show possible.

E3 is a hour long

Its usually longer than one hour actually.

The sad thing is if you read my very next comment after that, I was joking with him. RIP in peace. :(

:/

What playable demo stations?

E3 conferences are usually about 1 hour and 30 minutes from what I've seen.

With this being the first E3 of a new generation, 2 hour long conferences aren't implausible imo.

Feasible for Sony who have 3 platforms but I think MS would be hard pressed to fill 2 hours. Unless it's choc full of juicy stuff it just gets meh.

I know. Hopefully Bacon's dog won't lick the mod either.

lol how have I just noticed your avatar, awesome.

I'm thinking no leaks at all. I don't think Microsoft needs to leak anything at this point, considering all the coverage and speculation I've seen on gaming and non-gaming sites.

I think it'll be one of the first debuts we've seen in a while without almost any clear leaks.

same as the sony one i guess, all speculation. but I hoped they would have had like an event trailer lol.

I think with Xbox 1 they did alittle bit but with 360 they talked most about the user experience and customization and very minimal abut specs

yeah i'm kind of expecting the same thing this time. they'll let the games do the talking.

There was the controller and DriveClub (just the name, not anything meaningful), but yeah, a trailer could have been another cool thing for us who are on the edge of our seats to see anything.

I was impressed by the games at Sonys reveal but ideally wanted more new IPs. I suppose there were quite a few, DriveClub, Knack and Deep Down, but the latter was more like a tech demo, and I guess new racer IPs just don't quite have as much impact as other genres. Hopefully Microsoft brings a few new IPs (less Kinect) to show, otherwise many will likely just feel it's a repeat of last gen with both consoles, just prettier.

Unless of course the entire system specs ended up leaking back in January...

That's a pretty big leak if you ask me
