I'm going to be highway driving during this. Are there any audio-only or ultra low bandwidth video streams I might be able to put on?

Everyone has their own tastes in games. For example, I don't really know about any of the popular JRPG's. That doesn't mean they aren't popular though. I just don't personally pay much attention to them.

The numbers don't lie. These games are incredibly popular. In a single year, LoL had one billion hours of game time. All of Halo had two billion hours of game time from 2004 - April 2012.

That doesn't really mean much - taking played numbers on their own could simply indicate a small but wholly dedicated demographic of player, who sink many hours into the game at an individual level. But we're getting off-topic here anyway..

Oh, I'd like to know that too.

This should be interesting even if I'm not an Xbox fan. Watch them launch with Microsoft Land to carry sales.

I think I'm going on a neogaf blackout.
At this point I'd rather avoid leaks and teases.

I'm trying at least

Games like Guardians of Middle Earth have solved problems like this. I had the same doubts as you until I tried that game, and I realized that it could totally work. It won't be the same as the PC version, especially since you don't have a mouse, but they can find a way. Because of this, it's highly unlikely that people on the console will be able to play with people on the PC though.

Curious about that, so there is no last hitting or something? And how is ranged auto attacking handled?

Well. MS has had quite a few months to prepare for this so I'm expecting amazing things tomorrow. Don't disappoint me MS.

At this point it would be wise to stop second guessing the specs...

And remember that the 360 launch specs only really changed in RAM between the leaks a year from reveal and the final ones.

Sure... its not impossible for them to change... but you are setting yourselves up for a disappointment if you expect them to

At this point it seems that the only people who know what's coming are either on stage tomorrow or in a ridiculously tight NDA. ergo... lets just keep powder dry.

I really hope we get to see the respawn game though.

That would be awesome.

Was the gpu quite a lot more powerful than the one in those year old leaks though back then?

Bleh Perfect Dark is as mediocre as they come if were having wishlists here I want Kameo 2.
I'm not gonna disagree with you but the MP was a lot of fun at launch. It had a high player count and was relatively smooth online.

I wouldn't mind seeing the IP get another chance. I also wouldn't mind a Kameo 2 either.

Yeah, what I was meaning to say is that the number of current players isn't really an indication of its popularity as a whole - there are loads of other factors that attribute to somethings popularity. LoL no doubt has the potential to be huge but as it stands it's not really an earth shattering scoop for MS (if it is indeed true.)

it could be kind of an underrated big thing though.

i've been waiting for 7 years for somebody to tap that whole mmo/mmorpg thing on consoles, it seems like it could be so huge if they ever do, cause i still think pc is a barrier to some people. you could argue cod is pretty mmo-like, i supppose.

i could just be wrong, maybe mmo's can only thrive when there's a keyboard (for communication more than gameplay) naturally involved.

THIS, THIS, THIS.

PGR5 at launch/launch window, Forza 5 in 2015.

I don't want another Forza so soon after Horizon.

I'm not even that into most racing games but the PGR games are sublime. I put so many hours into 3 and 4.

You want a lot. I sadly think that tomorrows tent reveal will be somewhat like a certain fortune cookie factory with no master inside for you.
You will leave and then meet a hot chick and show her your moves.

Hahaha! Perfect

Angelus what gorgeous being is your avatar?

Who is your avatar?

Carol Seleme

Nope, same GPU. http://bit.ly/16CddEd

If you read Dean Takahashi's Xbox Uncloaked the final console was actually a downgrade from what they originally wanted. Xenon was suppose to be an OoE CPU, and Xenos was suppose to have 64 ALUs instead of 48.

Not that the above is in anyway an indication of any potential downgrades with this Xbox, but the difference between 360 and PS3 would have been painfully obvious if Xbox 360 did get the aforementioned features.

The thing is, there are many clues that suggest either a Forza 5 or PGR 5 announcement.

One thing's for sure though, FM5 better have included quite a few features if they are indeed launching this year. Namely, Spa, Bathurst, night and weather.

Otherwise, it would be better to hold off on Forza until they can implement those things and launch with PGR5 instead.

I want PGR5 not Forza!!

they will give us PGR5
thank you!!
for the smaller initial core audience and bring out a Forza next year as it settles into a groove with units sold.

although I would not put it past them to call PGR5 a version of Forza ('ala horizon)

Just rewatched that Xbox360 MTV reveal from 2005, so godawful lol...they did show surprisingly lot of games back then, I think i counted 14-15, all in short game reels though (except for PDZ).

Curious about that, so there is no last hitting or something? And how is ranged auto attacking handled?

I believe the only difference between melee/ranged is just the attack distance. So you move around with the left stick, and right stick is for aiming. When you aim, you see essentially a line where your attacks will hit, and you hit all creeps in that line. If you're melee, it's a close range, if you're ranged, it's longer. It also draws an outline around the creeps that you will hit when you attack. If you want to take out an entire wave as fast as possible, you want to line up as many creeps in a straight line in your attack range, and you attack all of them at once.

The way spells are handled is a similar manner. When you use a spell, typically it's a cone or an AOE around you, and when a hero is in range, it will highlight them to let you know that they will be hit. It takes a bit of getting used to, but it does feel pretty natural once you get used to it. Though it does feel different than a MOBA on the PC because you just can't be as precise as clicking on an individual hero or creep to attack them. On consoles, the positioning is much more important.

PGR 5 will be a launch title and Forza 5 will be released at the end of 2014. That's my assumption.

Will we see Halo 5 tomorrow? I can't imagine that it will be released before 2014.

They're still trying to fix Halo 4 lol. We won't hear about Halo 5 this year.
