I'm happy! It just means there are people hyped about the game other than me 8D;;

But I think you are the leader of the hype! :D

It's odd, I didn't think there would be so many AC fans here (or fans to be).

That's what I was thinking. I hope more people wander their way in here. And if not here, then the OT when it's time! :D

Have that site that plays the hourly music from all the games up, it's pretty great. Makin' me all nostalgic for the gamecube version in a big way.

I'm also happy that this game is hyped this much so long before it is released.
Yes, 24 days is too long T_T
Oh well, I still need to finish FE:A.

damn , just a couple of hours away and i am off the top 20 !
have to add a ton of people aswell.
I will flood you with questions the closer we get to the release date

As a way of apology for scarring some folks have a papercraft I found online:

Thank you so much for this !

Yes. Would be a tragedy if they removed it!
Yeah, you're right.
It was such a chore to switch tool before.

Edit : 78 friends! Hitting the limit soon. Also I have 300 swapnote now, and started to use it saturday. Will it 3000 before the game is released at this pace :lol

June's gonna be too good though.

  • Animal Crossing: New Leaf
  • The Last of Us
  • E3

On that note, I think it's gonna be funny going between this game and The Last of Us. A calm game where you can chill and have fun with people and have no worries...and a game set in a world like The Last of Us. lol

So which new feature ate you all looking forward to the most?

For me, it's probably developing and decorating my town with the community projects. As I mentioned before, I want my own little park with a fountain, benches and street lamps. The possibilities with these projects are endless and I'm really excited to develop my town using them

Haha, I'm going to be doing the same thing. Mid-June will be crazy.

Same for me.
Like I said I'll name my town Hyrule so I'll try my best to make my city looks like it.
Furniture wise too, my house will probably be medieval/fantasy themed. At least my main room.
Looking forward to all the new wonderful items in New Leaf!

Just type it in the corresponding slot.

I see some people have already... ruined the page's layout :lol. Oh well, not that it really matters.

Updated my part. No time traveling. North America (EST).

I think it's funny all the different versions of "no" in the time traveling part though.

Oh my. I didn't realize I've been SPAMMY in this thread lol. <3

You beat me by one post!

Can you choose exactly where to put benches, etc? That would be pretty hype. It would be cool to be able to make your own town square/park type area.

Decorating the town like that with the projects and patterns is my most anticipated feature, besides the usual furniture collecting/house upgrades.

Oh thank the seven.

The shopping center probably. It seems to be everything the city wasn't.

Feel free to beat me or pass me or whatever. :D I'm trying to be more proactive on the Gaming side instead of the OT. OT just makes my blood boil a LITTLE TOO OFTEN. So I'll just stick with what makes me happy. :3

Weird, I find myself getting into heated arguments in Gaming all too often. Mainly because why the fuck don't people get how fucking awesome Animal Crossing is?

Spend play coins on fortune cookies and hope you get lucky.

That, or beg someone with the corresponding fortune/the mask itself for it. You could even trade items you get from the fortune cookies for it. For example, trading a Blue Falcon for Majora's Mask, or 3 Red Shells for Majora's Mask.

For Nintendo items you have to buy fortune cookies for two play coins, then give the fortune to one of Nook's nephews. It's one fortune cookie a day for the small stores and two for upgraded, I think.

I'd better start walking around with 3DS in tow.

Severe lack of Animal Crossing goodies on Club Nintendo (Europe)

That sounds awesome! I bet you can really pull it off with the help of patterns on the ground, as well. I really love how AC motivates creativity.

All the different types of "no" are the best part! So funny to read them. AC community is the best!

You can place them pretty much anywhere. However, Isabelle is a bit picky, so you can't place them too close to something else. But otherwise, you're free to put them whenever.

I am tempted to go and read everything there is to Animal Crossing in a Wiki but on the other hand i want to experience it as new as possible.
I am feeling very uninformed in front of all you seasoned Animal Crossing players haha

Trust me, don't.

Okay, going to load up my Let's Go to the City town and see what state it's in!

Thanks, I'm an idiot.

Anyway, so what is the objective when you visit peoples village? Are you supposed to help them out, raid them, grow plants, something else?
