In my opinion they need to make an impression with first party content immediately, so I think it's reasonable I'm disappointed we're unlikely to see anything tomorrow.

I'm buying a couple and giving the buns to my dog. Also if any of you visit OT, Amy's baking company relaunches that night. It should be a fun 24 hours.

This is like the third reference to this I have seen and I have no clue what it is all about...maybe I have been living under a rock, but would someone care to give me the sparknotes version?

Gordon Ramsey exposed them to the world and the ensuing shitstorm was fucking magnificent. The owners of the bakery desperately tried to defend their Facebook page from Reddit and the rest of the internet.

Unsuccessfully, of course.

Oh damn...I might have to go read up on this!

It can be assumed I meant games which would define the system, as opposed to third party content which isn't particularly exciting, unless we get something like ME2 of course.

We already know there will be games shown tomorrow, we just don't know how many. It's pretty foolish to think there will only be FIFA, BF and COD.

What does it matter if the games are revealed here or three weeks later at E3? In the grand scheme of things the only impression that is going to really matter is what consumers think when these things launch.

I guess it's promising that the E3 conference will seemingly be dedicated to software, but I still think they should go ful force with the initial, important impact of 1st party titles.

Microsoft is throwing a coming out party with FIFA and COD (two of the most popular series in the industry right now). To you that may be boring, to me that may be boring but that is going to turn some mainstream heads a lot more than Killzone 4 and Infamous 3.

I'm sure we'll get a glimpse of some new shit tomorrow but probably not the whole picture.

I doubt it, They want everyone to be able to watch it. though you can check right now. Turn on your Xbox, Login, go to the Home tab, select the center tile (it should say "Xbox: a new Generation Revealed). It'll prompt you to download the Xbox Live Event Viewer.

Once its done downloading, if you can open it you'll be fine.

Thanks a lot, looks like it should work.
