Yeah it was 'a' controller that just happened to incorporate pretty much all the feature changes of the Dual Shock 4.... right...

His logic say him "it is Sony, it is not a leak, even if a prototype is a real leak, but if it is MS, then it is a real leak, even if it is a rumor".

My favorite thing about tomorrow is that we'll be able to figure out how ridiculous some of these "sources" have been.

And now we're arguing about whether that controller was a "leak"? C'mon man, this shtick is getting old.

Yeah, of course we don't know which one is legit though.

Specs, pretty much same controller with small changes and Kinect included would not be shocking.

Blocked used games and Always Online though we have no idea about.

And I think he meant leaks like the DS4.

Check my Xbox profile if you want to see the time I've put into the former as opposed to the latter. I've spent this whole generation a huge 360 fan, but I really don't think I can be blamed for having zero faith in Microsoft any more.

Tayuya how was that not a Leak? if a dev controller of the Nextbox get's leaked right now it will still gives us a better view of how the final product will look like. Why are you guys even talking about the PS4 Dev controllers in here, I got lost.

I just added to the discussion that one of your fellow GAFers started. No idea how it started up really.

But uhh, from rumors/"leaks" we've heard that the next Xbox controller won't differ much from the 360's.
 
I'm personally not putting any money into any of these rumors whether they are good or bad... we will find out in hours so what does it really matter.

I just wish people would stop stating some of these rumors like they are facts.
 
I've been spending the last hour watching this Gordon Ramsey Amy's Baking Company video that was linked.

It's so fucking good. Ramsey is the man.

It's stressing the SHIT OUT OF ME watching, though. I work at a restaurant.
 
I am glad MS did not have any major leaks this time around. It makes for greater anticipation for tomorrow's show.

I will be happy if they only show the console and talk about specs, features and their plans for the new generation. E3 will be the perfect place to showcase the games.

Most of the PS2's best-selling games were 3rd party, and a lot of them were "only" timed exclusive or not at all. Madden, GTA, Smackdown, and NFS were consistently top sellers at Christmastime. You'd have to be blind not to see that a big part of Sony losing marketshare this generation had to do with losing exclusivity of Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, DMC, GTA, etc, and losing its status as the primary console for football/basketball/soccer in NA and UK.

Seeing the New Xbox Console, alone, makes me happier than the PS4 "this is what we have in mind" February announcement.

Does anyone know whether it would be worthwhile for MS to include a 3G chip similar to the Kindle? It could touch base with the servers to fulfill the 'always online' theory, even for OFFLINE players.
Though you would obviously not be able to play online using this connection method.

Sony loves to ship consoles. LOVES it. They do not love talking about how many consoles they actually sell, such as in the world's largest market, where the Xbox has been maintaing a month-to-month sales lead for a couple of years.

But even if you're right, even if the PS3 is slightly ahead of the Xbox worldwide, how can you look at those numbers completely out of context? The Xbox made huge gains relative to where they were in the previous generation, whereas the PS3 lost significant ground.

You don't want to factor that into your 1st party argument? Does that seem like a thorough analysis to you? Do you expect people to be convinced by what you're saying without a contextual analysis? Like, smart people? You're going to be disappointed.

I still can't believe people care so much about Sony not showing the PS4 console design in February. As if staggering information and teases is an unheard of practice.
