Going off of specs, there is very little chance that this machine trumps the PS4 right? I figure it will be close, but it can't have more under the hood can it?

Wouldn't surprise me at all. Start the conference with the new boot up screen and the name, then straight in.
The reveal hub page is basically an iFrame containing the "Darwin" app. I guess it's related rather to the timeline on this page.
edit: ah it's really called Darvin with v instead of w... weird.

Except maybe all the hardware specs earlier this year, depending on what it turns out to be the name has probably already been revealed, we've heard about subscription models, DVR capability, kinect 2.0 inclusion, the controller, we know about Illumiroom and they've allowed the word to get out about CoD, FIFA, NFS...
But other than that, air-tight.
Its possible that they might have changed something but smart money is that it wont trump the PS4. Games will still look incredible, we are still talking about powerful hardware here. A year or 2 ago people were skeptical whether we would have 4 gig regular RAM consoles today, both are double that (and PS4 some more) as according to rumors
We are 6 hours and 30 something minutes away from this amazing reveal, right? 18:00 CET?

We don't know shit. If the leaks are 100% true then the PS4 beats the Xbox quite comfortably, although it won't matter that much in the end really. If the leaks are wrong, maybe they are on par.
Really, it doesn't matter. What matters is that ports won't look like shit on PS4 anymore. Which is the thing to take away from here.

Robot tracking is a nice feature on the back of the box for Kinect but I don't see myself using it any time soon
If Harmonix are doing Dance Central 4 it will be a little disappointing if that is what Harmonix was working on and it's just a minor upgrade to the previous Dance Central games. Hopefully if they do release a new Dance Central game it has some major new features. Although I can't think of anything that could be added to a dance game that's not already in the Dance Central games.

Their job ads don't indicate another dancing game at all. Not to say they aren't working on DC4, but they're definitely working on something new too.
