The price is what's holding me back. Rather have a physical copy for the cheaper price. While the always on the system is rather convenient (especially when on holiday) I can live with swapping carts. It's not like I swap carts everyday.

Yeah I think that excuse is kind of lame. The carts are tiny and not too difficult to carry around with you. Won't pay £10 extra for that benefit anyway.

I would agree, except I'm getting the game for free so it's no personal loss... I also refuse to pay £39.99, it's insulting.

Yep. Their convenient excuse is "not to piss off retailers" but the real reason is to take the cut that would go to retailers, manufacturing, packaging costs etc.

Are you going to "cheat" the game by resetting your DS internal clock? The game reads and is based off on that since it rolls real time. Say you missed a sale from Nook and you reset your DS a day or two back, that's Time Travel. Resetti will also come out and berate you into a very LONG conversation and make you cry like a little girl at the end.

Personally, I don't mind Time Travelers but its annoying when you come in and see someone's in Winter season and we're in Summer. LOL.

It certainly lets you have more fun, and different items are more easily obtained. Your towns interact, so for example a villager from your friends town might meet you and decide to move into your town.

Well it certainly HELPS a ton in shops and trading. A lot of items in shops are randomly generated and you could amass your "sets" of furnishings a LOT faster with a huge roster of buddies and their shops to go through.

I'm assuming you mean "friends" as in multiplayer, right? In that case, totally yes! You can visit their towns, they can visit yours, and you can buy things like patterned furniture they've created. Additionally, you can take some of their fruit and plant it in your town while also sharing some of your fruit with them. Foreign fruit is worth a lot more in the shops than fruit native to your town.

Yeah I checked I think it's 4 friends only.

Oh the animal friends! :3 NO worries, if you want to keep one of them as a neighbor you just need to make sure you talk to them once a day or something. If you do more than that like giving them presents (or items you don't want), they may give you presents.

However if you neglect them long enough OR their personalities just clash with the other neighbors (you'd be surprised), they'd move out. They tend to stick around for like 2 weeks to a month or so before moving on.
