Looking pretty good, though I still have no idea what the game is.

Developed exclusively for Xbox One, Quantum Break blurs the line between television and gameplay, integrating the two into one seamless, uniquely immersive experience. From Remedy Entertainment, the critically-acclaimed creators of Alan Wake and Max Payne comes a revolutionary entertainment experience that weaves the cinematic action of intense gameplay with the tension and drama of scripted television, creating a world where each has a direct impact on the other.

In Quantum Break, our desperate hero fights a highly personal battle to save the future before time literally runs out. As time breaks down, impossible, split second moments of destruction turn into epic stages of time powered action. The actions you take, and the choices you make, shape your experience as the narrative unfolds. As you play, a personalized ‘director’s cut’ of the show is created just for you, based on the decisions you make during the game.

Quantum Break will lead the new generation of interactive entertainment, as the show and game deliver a holistic entertainment experience made possible only on Xbox One.

Are all the big exclusives going to tie into television now? This and Halo give me that impression.

That's look different as night and day than COD:Ghost. It should have use this one.

Can't wait what it really like on E3 then.

There's something about the look of this along with the EA titles that is weird. doesn't really look next gen. it needs that next gen bloom

so its a tv show... game...?

like there's pre-recorded TV sequences that play out as the game plays out? different possibilities etc

Definitely sounds like a cool idea. One of the main reasons I got a Xbox 360 was because of Alan Wake. That definitely didn't work out for me last time, because that game was gross-bad, but I think I'm being saved the trouble of anticipating this go around by how bad Xbox One is.

Still, will watch to see how it turns out.

And some say KZ Shadow fall wasn't impressive?

This looks like any multiplatform game running on medium settings on my PC. Bioshock infinite looks better already.

lookin generic as fuck

but it wont be, and it doesnt sound it from the description, cause it's Remedy

the episodic stuff makes me think of Alan Wake anyway, just less linear

either way, not looking forward to that year-long gap or so for the PC release. Ugh

Why does Microsoft think gamers love television?

Aren't TV networks always talking about how they're bleeding viewers, losing them to TV and video games?

So there's a brief (relatively speaking I guess, seems like it uses slowed down time) moment of action and some kind of in-game decisions to make...who to save, things like that...then it cuts to a live action show that plays out to the next action, reflecting the choices you made or your performance?

Edit - actually rereading it, it kind of sounds like you play through the game and THEN there's a show based on those actions. That's less interesting to me.

After Alan Wake I'm very interested in what they have to show.

A lot of angry people complaining about it being Xbox One exclusive in their forums, though.

I feel like I've traveled back to the mid 90s with all this talk of merging gaming and live-action TV sequences.

literally the only thing remotely interesting from the entire conference. Would like to actually see gameplay though...because right now cgi means nothing.

All I know is the Love Action Parts in the trailer did now flow well into the tiny bit of "gameplay" at all.
Actually they just made things worse.
