Will you be posting a read-only version? I think I have most everyone added but I'd like to check.

Correct, read only in an image for you to save and on a text in a post later on.

This is going to be a massive overhaul version. The one that'll have confirmed FC to GAF member confirmation and time zones filled in. It'll be listed in alphabetical order as well.

I'll update from either spreadsheet and from pms or from this thread.

Thanks, this will be helpful for Crossing GAF!

Eudaemonic, are you getting the poptart or are you playing this game solo? Just happen to notice your FC is not on the list.

Nah. My info is in my profile. I didn't want to be specifically added to the list because I'm a little odd in that I just don't wanna be mass dumped into someone's friend log for this game. I'd rather have it where someone interacts with me and decides they want me there as a friend. Then they can check my info and send me a message so I know to add them back (and vice versa). There's a little flow control doing it that way too.

I did the list thing for the SwapNote thread but I have a feeling the Animal Crossing one is going to explode more.

Wow... really? Already? I just looked at that link not even 20 minutes ago and it was full of names and numbers. :(

This exactly what I was thinking of. I have a feeling this mass adding of friends will get confusing, quickly. Everyone I've added so far seems to be active on Swapnote though, so that's a good sign.

Pm'd you.

I actually laughed earlier because I looked up FearMyWrench's number and then realized I already had him from the SwapNote thread but forgot because he's under his real name.

I should remember to change my speech bubble so people realize they're interacting with me since my Mii is under a different name. :P

Timezone knowledge is a dangerous thing.

(I get up before 6 a.m.; I wonder if I should use the early bird ordinance just for that reason…)

Yeah, I'm available pretty much alllllll dayyyyyy. (Unemployed.) So I'm pretty flexible in my hours. :D

I just use the same name everywhere. Keeps things simple and thankfully I've rarely come across a service where my name isn't available.

I wonder if it would be useful to form little subgroups within the AC:NL community. That way, we can all pick a couple of groups to add Friend codes from, based on our interests, rather than hand-pick one by one. There could be groups based on region, interests (ex.: a patterning group, a stalk market group, a fossil trading group), or just social groups. They can be color-coded on the list..maybe have an emblem for each? Could be fun.

I'm the exact opposite and I've been going back and forth between the Night owl and Beautiful town ordinances. I guess I will have to play to know for sure, but most days I probably won't play past 10 PM. And I do like the Beautiful town effects. Weeds rarely grow? No need to water flowers? Hybrids may grow more frequently? Right up my alley!

Yeah, I can fix that. :) Just let me know what you'd like to have personally and I'll fix it for you.

It would also be to really beneficial to have a friend with the Wealthy town ordinance, as that gives you a higher price for the items you sell, if I'm not mistaken. So yeah, you need a lot of different friends.

Nggg. I don't need a no-weeding or no-watering ordinance, but more frequent hybridization sounds tempting…

I'll probably do beautiful town/late night then switch to wealth whenever I start selling a lot of turnips.

I'll be playing for an hour or so in the morning between 8-9 while on the train and then from 5-6 on the way home and up to 11pm, but after that I'll be out like a light. Weekends who knows, probably mostly in the afternoon. All EST.

So, rich-money-ballers-club subgroup?

I'll be able to be on for a majority of the day until August. I don't want to listen to the music until I get the game, it's an integral part of the game for me.

Oh man, I think I'm gonna get this. I haven't really played much AC since maybe 2002 or 03? I really loved it back then. I used to take my memory card over to my neighbor/friend's house who also had AC, and we would grab fruit from each others towns, check out the villagers, etc. I remember one time I took my memory card out too early when he was visiting my village, and his character lost all his items and got those creepy black eyes. I felt really bad about that, so I farmed up what I could remember from what was in his inventory and got new items for him. Good times.

Animal Crossing seems to be tailored to on-the-go play and short play sessions, so I don't know why I never picked up Wild World. Anyway I've watched some videos and I'm pretty hyped for it, it may be my first full-price retail 3DS game purchase (my others are used or were on sale).

I remember way back when Wild Word was released, me and three others had our own little group where we would meet in one of our towns each it weekend (we all met on AnimalCrossingCommunity, don't know if you know that site, it's great). I always had to play a bit late since they were all American, haha. But that was a lot of fun. We helped each other finishing furniture sets, traded various items, traded hybrid flowers and much more. One of the greatest times and some of the most fun I've ever had with Animal Crossing. Unfortunately we're no longer in contact, unforturnately.

I'm hoping we can establish something similar with New Leaf.

Yiss. Last month Monster Hunter, this month Luigi's Mansion, next month c-c-combo Fire Emblem/Donkey Kong + freebie Animal Crossing. And to think 3DS had a choppy start. Life's good.

Slightly OT, is Monster Hunter really that good? I tried the PSP version and didn't get much out of it. :\

I used to go to ACC too but I forgot my username and password, I don't think I even use the same email now. But I did meet a lot of fun people there.
Also what has been going on in this thread and the spreadsheet -_-? So much "lewd" everywhere.

I hear that. I didn't use mine a whole lot until Fire Emblem came out. Then I always had it nearby and got quite a few more games for it. Lots of easy pick up and play, and AC will be amazing for that.

Animal Crossing seems to be tailored to on-the-go play and short play sessions but it will suck the ever loving life out of your time anyways because it's like crack and you can't stop. Fixed. *laughing*
