I just ordered the AC 3DS for my mother. She is the biggest AC fan and doesn't have a 3DS yet.

I am not even telling her. She will just receive it and loose her shit.

Can't wait to play online with her, seeing I live 200 miles away from her.
You're an amazing person. I wish my mother would play AC :( She DID just get an iPhone though...

Did anyone even read my transfer instructions? :( Trust me guys, I did the whole transfer when I bought the White 3DS XL with MK7 preinstalled and that is the way to go. No worries.

Can I still re-download the game if it's not publicly up yet for everyone on the eshop?

Can anyone tell me what you can really do when it comes to online multiplayer in Animal Crossing? I barely knew anyone who had the game when the DS version was out, so it was purely single player for me.

I was just under the impression that you can visit other people's places and...well, that's it.

Thanks!

Trade/sell your native fruit for HUGE MONEY. And of course having a HUGE roster of buddies and THEIR SHOPS are a much faster way of getting furniture sets than in vanilla solo.

Well, that is kind of it! But while you're there, you can talk to the animals, chat with your friends, buy from their shops, shake their trees, run over their flowers (*sob*), send them mail, experience their holidays, and much more! New Leaf apparently improves on it all, too, with multiplayer events that I'm not totally clear on yet but soon will be I am sure.

This series on the Nintendo Channel has been great for catching up on what is new. This one specifically goes over some of the multiplayer things.

There's two and I'm working on a image "read only" as well as a text form for a post later on. You're just better off posting your info in this thread. Please post your GMT and your thoughts on Time Travel.

Gotcha thanks!

Mtn time and not a fan of time travel.

Something that haven't been mentioned yet:

Participate in fishing tournaments and bug off contests together, play many different games on the island. Really fun!

- special holiday only events
- some regions have unique holidays
- checking out other towns' different shop items
- trading native fruits
- different town ordinances effecting the times/selling prices/etc
- the Island, mini-games for 1-4 players. Also win prizes?

Transfer your stuff to the new 3DS. Swap over the SD cart.

Everything on your old 3DS is now erased and your new 3DS will be a carbon copy of the old.

Now open the eShop. Go to Settings (far left) and choose "Titles I've downloaded). There you can redownload the Animal Crossing game that came with the system.

So, first you play Animal Crossing: New Leaf on your old 3DS and then do the system transfer to the new 3DS?

Seriously guys. Take it from me, make a spreadsheet of FC numbers so you can make a note of which user name matches which GAF name cos if you don't it's a right time consuming task looking it all up.

WHALE PLAID.

Seriously, that is awesome.

What? No.

You buy the 3DS XL with Animal Crossing preinstalled. You want to use that 3DS.

You transfer your stuff from your old 3DS to the new one and swap the SD cards.

Your new 3DS is basically like your old one now, but the copy of Animal Crossing has been deleted as the transfer wipes the data first. You now have to redownload it and you're good.

The old 3DS has been wiped so your account is on the new one.

Soooo the animal crossing 3ds xl.....

It will be available at june 9?

Not earlier? Like before may 30 earlier?

These region specific holidays, can others get the unique items tied into them from visiting other regions?

No but I'd appreciate you and everyone here to take a moment to double check their codes on this trio of images for me please.

According to my friend who had the Fire Emblem XL he could just drag the game from the SD card to the new SD card, that is I think what that poster meant. But if you are going to a new 3DS need to ensure the license is transferred.

Would you do the drag before or after system transfer?

Oh. I had no idea. That saves precious time downloading it then.
