Gah, is it too late for a salty old spittoon to get on this Friend Code bandwagon? I originally thought it may be too overwhelming, but this GAF community is going to be too awesome to ignore. The list is already past the 100 person max though, so I feel like I'm a straggler. I promise I'll Animal Cross the shit out of anyone that adds me though!
Well, my daughter and I are watching the Treehouse videos on the Wii U as they come out, so maybe I'll get a little interest out of her in the end.
I think CF soured a lot of people who'd already played WW to death, but I also think NL will be able to turn that around if it's given a chance.No prob!

I thought I would share a text I sent to a friend of mine earlier, regarding New Leaf: "Turnips, town tune, fishing, bugs, fossils, flowers, items, letters, island games, neighbors, picnic, barista job, beach, diving, furniture, home decor, dance club, tailor sisters, fruit, Saturday nights K.K., lost & found, weeds, Mayor, laws, public works, catalog, dream visits, pitfalls, model homes, QR codes, museum, more new stuff.... And ice cream, you can walk around barefoot with f*****g ice cream or coffee in your hands while you talk to your secretary and see a flying present go by. If that's not AWESOME, then what is?".

I'm also really hyped for Zelda, Bravely Default and Pokemon, which -- although all coming in 2013 -- seem to be at the end of the year. Argh. >_<
As long as your gate is open, they can come in and do stuff. Simply close your gate to not allow them.
There's also seasonal DLC that will come out, which you have to be connected to the internet for. Other than that, you can leave your wifi off.
Can people piss off villagers in my town and make them leave?

In case anyone is just entering the thread and don't know what's the deal with the whole "poptart", I'll reiterate for you, the poptart is from the ACNL 3DSXL bundle, with a poptart looking 3DS XL included with the ACNL game. Obviously this bundle is released on the same day as the game. (I hope!)I understand.
