I'm thinking about buying this at release. I loved the original game, and played a bit of the DS game but it felt like more of the same. New Leaf looks like it'll breathe new life into the series and I really want to try it.

Gonna unscrew and detach the cover parts, then spraypaint them with Plasti Dip. The only problem is that the D-pad and the face buttons will still be black.

Alright so I actually have a group of people who have similar tastes, which almost never happens. Thus, if there are any left by time I can (most likely) I am getting one of those AC XL bundles next month. But I'm being picky and shallow so if I can't get that bundle, I won't get a 3DS.

I did, but the end of it. Long and short of it is I'd pay for it via part-time job that is starting at the end of this month. This would actually be kind of a celebratory thing regarding that before I simply save as much as I can. But between hours still being worked out, necessary expenses for said job, and where paydays land, it could be put off till the end of June.

I've been using it more now that I have more active people on my friend list.Who is using Swapnote at the moment? This may sound picky but I'd like to add them first since my Swapnote contacts are getting rather quiet now.
I forget you have to do that in America. I've never even put down a penny for a preorder.
I sent out a note about a month(?) ago to find out who was using it and found about a third of my list were, but most are swapnote lurkers.
