Been waiting a long time for this. Definitely getting the collectors edition, although sad that Yoshitaka Amano is only featured on the box art.

Will this be on PS4? Because that's probably where I would play it... pretty much guaranteed I would buy it there. PS3, I recall those vids looking super framey, so I'd be hesitant. And then, imagine putting a bunch of time into the PS3 version and none of it carry over? If your profile or whatever carried over to PS4 (if the game ends up there) I would probably buy the PS3 version. And this deal would seem more tempting.

I need to do some basic research on this game I guess...

Hinted but they have been adamant about not announcing other platforms till the PC and PS3 version are officially released. My guess is they will probably wait for the first 'expansion' before releasing a PS4 version so they can make use of a new platform release to get people excited for new content and so they can showcase it at things like E3 and such .

PS3 version is going to be slated for bad framerate. Whatever little they've shown (which is sort of funny as it is) has poor framerate. A PS4 version will remedy this and I fully expect PS3 owners to be able to redownload the PS4 client for free...or maybe a nominal fee?
