One thing I do hope for this Nintendo Direct is the presence of full trailers with no outside speaking from Iwata. I realized that, when Iwata revealed new games, clips of gameplay were shown while he spoke about the game rather than a traditional trailer.
I'm hoping for X-like treatment. Just tell us, "Watch this," and show a trailer. I don't want to hear, "And here is the new Mario game," and see a screenshot before bite-sized clips of gameplay are shown while Iwata tells us how the game works.

Don't know if anyone posted this, but I see a few people making the assumption that this is during E3. Its not, first E3 day the doors open a bit later.

New Zelda (not the WW remake) and retro FPS or go home Nintendo.
Why even say it? Everyone knows it's not gonna happen. Way too early for this. Expect a reveal next year. It's the whole reason we're getting Wind Waker HD this year, because proper Zelda takes a while.
Last year Nintendo had nothing to show. We know a good chunk of what they're showing this year, which is what has a lot of people excited.

Come on, you can find the clips later on. At the time of the last E3 full trailers were uploaded to eShop soon after the conference.
Iwata is our host and a part of the show, I don't see a reason to take him out.
And hopefully some surprises! PLEAASSSSEEE!!!

All I want is for them to do a One More Thing, then announce something fucking amazing that gets made downloadable during the conference. Like say Smash Brothers, on 3DS and Wii U simultaneously that can play against each other online.

I don't mean we have to omit him from the show. I just want the first glimpse of the game be a full trailer. I liked the way X was revealed rather than Yosh's Epic Yarn or Wind Waker HD. He can go in-depth; I just think I'd like to see a reveal trailer first.
When that comes out, I really hope you will order it from zavvi again.

EAD 1- Mario Kart 8 - should be shown this E3
EAD 2- Wii Sports U-should be shown, Animal Crossing U (still think this series should be handheld only but they'll try again)
EAD3- Wind Waker HD, Link to the Past 2
EAD 4- Pikmin 3, possible new IP that Miyamoto has talked about?
EAD 5- Wii Fit U
EAD Tokyo- 3D Mario Wii U
Monolith- X, possible 3DS game shown
Retro- ?????? Probable new IP to be shown
Alpha Dream- Mario and Luigi
Intelligent Systems- Fire Emblem X SMT, questionable whether whatever other game they have is far enough into development
Platinum- Bayonetta 2 and Wonderful 101 should be shown
There is no way Nintendo can fit all they have to show in one Direct, so there will most certainly be another one unless they just throw games on the show floor with no explanation.

Didn't Nintendo said they're going to talk a lot more about it AFTER E3?
There will be a E3 demo of course, but I don't think it will show up in that Direct.

The hype bus was just for that ND, everyone knows hype trains are for E3, but also know it's Nibel's job to organize the train (though, if for some reason he fails at his duties, I'll take up the mantle again). Rain or shine, the hype train will be right on time.
