Honk! Unless I'm already in I don't know I have crap eyes.

I'm also hyped for maybe more eShop reveals. Been playing Denpamen at the moment, hopefully announce more games of that quality/ quirkiness.

Wouldn't it be alright to just paste it over New Leaf, like so? :)

Thank you kindly. I was torn on getting rid of my New Leaf avatar for this but man it just looks so good.

I have a feeling she's more closely linked with X considering the fact that she's Tetsuya's wife and pretty much the mother of the Xeno games (excluding Xenoblade, since she wasn't involved in it) it's possible she could be lending her talents to both projects but I would of thought she'd be too busy with X.

Wait, Xenoblade is connected to Xenogears and Xenosaga? I want to play Xenoblade, but I've never played either of those games. But wasn't the Chrono Cross writer, Masato Kato, responsible for those?

Ah, you're right, that makes more sense. And I just remembered that the Kyoto team headed by Honne is working on the 3DS game.

No they are not connected. Xenoblade is only vaguely related thematically, like the Quintet saga. There are no story connections. Xenoblade is completely its own thing.

Oh. Is there at least a connection with the way the word "xeno" is used in the titles? Is he just fond of the word or something? lol
It's more or less the same amount of story connection the Systemshock games share with Bioshock. Same developers, same design principals I guess, but definitely a wholly different franchise.

EDIT: Whoops, several minutes too late. Still, it's a naming convention I see a lot when developers change publisher but want to keep doing spiritual successors.

Masato Kato was involved in Xenogears as a script writer but he had nothing to do with XS or XB from what I know. Also, Xenoblade isn't connected to either XS or XG but it juggles with some of the themes you can find in those games, albeit very loosely.

I've that they all deal with religious and sci-fi fantasy themes, buts that sort of a given in JRPGs these days. ;)

I'm glad to hear there aren't any real story connections between XG/XS and XB though. I've seen how good the game looks like in Dolphin and I think I'll play it soon.
