OK. This is unrelated, but now that I've finally decided to take my 3DS online and gotten me a bunch of friends, I thought I'll use the swapnot feature to send replies for the couple of great notes that I got.
(Animal Crossing related noted so this isn't unrelated after all... sorry)
But I just get a message saying "reply saved for delivery via spotpass". How do I know the replies have been sent? Is there a problem here?

So I heard about the Best Buy DLC and I'm like "hey yeah, I can do this, I actually frequent a nice store with great customer service that is on my way home from work" but then I remembered that I've tried to use that store's Nintendo Zone a few times before and it's never been operational. The game department reps were always like "oh yeah, the Nintendo rep is supposed to fix that."

That means they're sent. SpotPassing is done in the background when you're near your Wi-Fi and that's how the messages get delivered. That also means you can make notes when you're away and they'll be delivered when you get back.

I've seen at least 3 different people playing it. Although I don't think there's any way to tell if it's the Japanese version or not.
On the friends list, it shows the title in Japanese if its the Japanese version. On StreetPaaa, I think every version shows up in English for us. Japanese or not.
I will spoiler this, just in case:
You can only get this at the barber shop. Iirc from reading about the Japanese version; the barber shop opens after ~3 weeks.

Seems like far too many obscure treasures, or ones you can mess up if you don't know the right order to smash blocks etc.
That's my problem, played it so much as a kid I know where almost every treasure is just like that. Played it a few months back and beat it 100% in a day.
I never realised just how bad the CPU partner was as a kid. Mostly because I played it with friends back then.

So as you probably know, when you start the game, your first act is to plant a town tree which grows as you play.

You need to play the game for a certain amount of days and hours. To get the biggest tree, you need to have been playing for 500 days and put in at least 500 hours during that time. That's a lot of days! There are lots of growth stages in between, too, like a stage for 5 days with 5 hours, and 20 days with 20 hours, etc.
Yeahhhhhhhh. Kids =/= rules. No. Tell you what, I'll put you on a PINK mode. Borderline safe for anyone to add.
