Man, I'm glad I actually know a few people that are into Pokemon and other like games. Even the buff dudes at my gym are interested in Animal Crossing!

Imagine a 6'4 muscular dude like the Rock finishing up a workout, and whipping out the 3DS to play Pokemon Black 2.

Not hard to imagine for me, all I have to do is look in the mirror.
 
A game that deals with leaving the nest, making it on your own, dealing with the local community and your first job = kiddy.

A game where you bruuuup some cheeky fools = mature.

So Best Buy for some exclusives...please don't let this be a trend Nintendo. I hate driving up that way since I don't live anywhere close to a BB at all.
 
Hope it's not Game that Nintendo partner with for SpotPass DLC in the UK as none of their bloody stations are ever turned on.
 
Let's try to keep prejudice out of the thread. There are old fogies out there who are just as likely to ruin your day.

By all means be vigilant, but really all you can do is wait and see. The true griefers will only reveal themselves once they have nuzzled their way into our towns, and by then it's too late.

Agreed. I didn't even think of people sharing their 3DSes. :\ I'm native to think anyone's that responsible for their own system better.
 
Pretty much everyone on my friends list is from GAF, as...I can trust you all far more than I can trust people on other communities. The approval process here pretty much eases my concerns compared to how easily exploitable other sites are.

Plus, the spreadsheet is cool. I like that you're looking out for us and making this so much easier, Philia!
 
I'm glad that the nearest Best Buy is about 7 miles from me. Since I used to work there, my old co-workers won't bat an eye when I whip out my 3DS for the AC stuff. They knew how I would take many pictures of them using my system hehe.

I also hope not. I don't even go past one during my normal day to day commute and I'd really have to go out of my way to get to the nearest one.

Yeah, thanks for the work. I need to add some more to fill up my friends list. Having the spreadsheet makes people accountable for their actions, so I think there won't be too many people being buttholes.

Anybody have any 3DS game recommendations to pass the time? I haven't got a new game since Fire Emblem, my 3DS was off getting repaired for a few weeks and I just started playing it again recently. I'm thinking of getting the Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages and Seasons next week, but I'm not sure if that'll be cutting it too close to AC's release that I won't get through them.

Well, I don't see how people could think that. If not for that spreadsheet I can imagine the OT being quite chaotic at times!

I can relate a bit though, I kinda feel like I can be overbearing here.

My Crossing GAF friends, it happened; my 3DS friends list is now full! Thanks to each and all who added me; you will be glad to have me around. 99 friends from the AC:NL community; awe-some.

unfortunately, since it is bound to happen, I have to ask; if a 3DS friend removes you from their list, do you find out? Is that person automatically removed from your list?

A huge thanks to Philia for all her excellent work on the friends list! And for future pop tart owners like her that I haven't 3DS friended, I will be keeping tabs on heavily inactive NL friends and adjust accordingly to make room for you.

June 9th just can't be here soon enough!
 
Can some people add me? My friend code is 2750-1606-0145. I only have 3 people added and none of them are from here... I've been adding a crapload of people to no avail lol.

It was originally the case that it unlocked in range of one, but I think it actually became present on all firmwares after a certain update? Maybe I'm crazy.
 
Stansted Airport was the first Nintendo Zone I came across. I'm pretty sure it was a year from when I first noticed it to when I last checked it and it still said "coming soon".

I also fixed the fruit icons to be smaller. I found Banana and Durian and fixed them into a nice icon.
