This is my first AC and I want to go in without a guide so I am having to skip huge chunks of this thread
I understand. I'd just go on a media blackout if I were you. But yes... that's a very LONG media blackout too. You'll be spoiled on a lot of characters too.
I used it as a check list. Very very beneficial in making sure I got everything, remember those bugs and fish are only available certain seasons and certain times? Yeah, that guide helps a ton.

I usually played the GC and DS games right before going to sleep a lot, so hearing the music from them is enough to relax me loads. Didn't help I could always play them laying down usually too, heh.

Haha, yeah I even had to import their Pikmin tote bag and wanted to get that Mario pillow/cushion thing.
This is how I first played Wild World. Then I realized Nook was a dick and I flat out ignored my house in favor of other stuff.
I've always just prioritized my mortgage when I needed more space, personally. Keep a little bit of cash in case some rare furniture pops up, but otherwise, yeah.
Did the same but I just stopped because there was nothing I wanted to do with the expansions, I already had a house I really liked.

I don't have a job but am actively searching. Ended my 5th semester of college a few weeks ago and man. Been applying to even places I DON'T want to work. I'm more of an introverted shy person so I guess it's hard for me to put myself across as someone who's "willing to work with the general public" and get follow up interviews.
So far I've had 5 jobs in my life and for the most part they've not been the best. lol. CVS/Pharmacy and Pizza Hut did have me working with people but eh...trying.

Should I hold back buying an XL until after E3? I was going to buy one when Animal Crossing comes out, but I think I should wait a few days just in case they announce a white XL for North America...

It wasn't a launch 3DS. I'm not sure if I mentioned this though in that thread I made (I wrote it drunk, and as a personal rule I never re-read things I've written while intoxicated), but it broke because it flew out of my hoodie pocket during a jump-spin high-five I was giving my 8 year old sister and landed on a hardwood floor. The only colors that are ever shown at E3 are the delicious, glorious colors we can never have.
