Boy, you guys are shitting all over Cyan here.

I'm just joking.

I was actually spoiled by accident, and I don't think anyone should ruin the show for people who want to watch it.

It's probably best that people not dance around posting "innocent" non-spoilers because eventually, even those become spoilers.

As a book read, I firmly believe that Cyan and ThoseDeafMutes should rule this thread as Stannis, and punish (ban) those who drop any hints or info from the books at all, regardless of their intentions. It's not up to book readers to decide what is relevant. In this thread, the books do not exist and never have, and anyone hinting at anything or mentioning anything should be removed from the thread permanently for attempting to ruin the show for others (or at least not caring enough to stay away).

Mods should be Stannis-like, not Renly-like.

Edited out references to previous removed posts

Also, book readers should know that there are a group of book readers taking screenshots of all posts here who seem to be hinting at things a little too well, or mentioning things that shouldn't be known by show-watchers. At the end of the season these screenshots may be given to mods to show that people are attempting to troll this thread and those users can be dealt with. Maybe I shouldn't be letting those trolls know, but it's better that they stop now that ruin anything for people and simply be punished later.

Listen book readers, either you bend the knee to the mods and show watchers here in this thread or we'll destroy you lol.

Just kidding, but please try not to ruin it for us. I'm already upset we have to wait an extra freaking week to see the next episode. Only two episodes left before another damn year long wait and I have high hopes. Three seasons of this damn show have been building for the eventual Stark/Lannister war. Imagine the fury Robb, Catelyn, and Arya will have when they find out Sansa is married to Tyrion.

I hope we finally get to see this damn Casterly Rock place as well. I keep picturing Pride Rock in my mind from Lion King for some reason. Like its some damn huge cliff that lords over everything else.

I want the final shot of this season to be Robb sitting in Tywin's chair there, with that Mountain guys head on a spike and Tywin learning that the young wolf has just taken his 'lions den'.

People posting stuff about the books not only potentially spoil the TV show, but also spoil the books. I want to make my way through the books, but I want to be surprised by what happens there. I don't want to know how this particular season correlates with book X.

Yeah, it's time we got something big with the Stark / Lannister war, it's been too damn long and it's time the Starks finally got one. Sad to think that before the season started Tywin was shaking in his boots about the Young Wolf and now he's basically dismissed him as nothing to be concerned about.

Anyway...

As count dooku said, twice the pride, double the fall. Tywin's been sitting too comfortably in that Hand of the King chair at Kings Landing, signing letters and drinking wine and coming up with ways to screw Tyrion over or consolidate his wealth/legacy.

Ha, she is going to grow up and look exactly like the FBI secretary lady from The Americans!

A lot of people have trouble believing that Maisie Williams (Arya) is only 1 year younger than Sophie Turner (Sansa).

One of my friends said after the episode that there was no way the girl who played Sansa was only 14, that she was obviously in her 20s.

I told him that when the scene was filmed Sophie Turner was 16, and he face palmed.

Watch Game of Thrones cast interviews.

Charles Dance spoils something.

Thanks, Tywin.

A little while ago I started a pet project in RPGmaker on the go that would've had GoT story in an FF6 style. Worked a few days on it straight because it was so fun (main plotting had lots of "battles" on the trip from Winterfell to King's landing to make it actually an rpg).

Now that I'm totally bummed out after being book-spoiled, I sort of lost the wind in my sails to do it, I don't even want to talk about the series anymore and I can only hope that over the next year I start to forget things.

If anyone wants to take over the little project, PM me and I'll send the code.

How did you get book spoiled?

as far as I could reconstruct it, and if I am right, jaxword searched his own name and landed on a post in the song of ice and fire spoiler thread where he was mentioned by another user.

WTF? People in other threads are quoting what we write? Did he use the see who quoted me feature? I've never used it myself but damn, that's horrible. I'm sorry you got spoiled jaxword. Looks like not even GAF is safe from spoiling. I already avoid YouTube, IGN, Twitter, etc.

no, if its the post I found, which me be the completely wrong one, he was not quoted but only mentioned. and he used the search function to search his own name. and he found himself in the unmarked spoiler thread.

Not quite like that; the preview post function gives a snippet of a post, and before I could jerk my eyes away when I realized it was previewing the wrong GOT thread, that millisecond was enough to ruin something big. But it doesn't matter anymore, what's done is done, now I'm just accepting the reality that I can't talk about GoT anymore ANYWHERE on the entire net.

Anyways, it's done and over with, PM me if you really want to talk about it more.

Gonna have to go cold turkey from here on in. Maybe I'll find a new show to nerd-obsess over, I hear My Little Horsy needs viewers.

I don't know what got spoiled for you, but I hope you stick around. There's no way a quick jerk of the eyes toward a bad bit of spoiler could have spoiled every intense moment that's sure to come in future seasons

Talking about spoilers, people should stay THE FUCK AWAY from Amazon's Kindle images. They've picked some insanely spoilerific pages for their product pictures in past.

So is there some kind if Map that updates with the show where the characters currently are and what they are up to? I always forget about some details or characters but am too afraid to look for the information myself.

In her twenties? She still has a teenagers face and not a womans. She might look a year or two older than she actually is but not much more.

she looks a bit too old for her role, and Arya is getting there too now

does anyone else think Melisandre is going to do something to Stannis daughter, sooner or later? She was only in two scenes so far and I can't really think of another reason why she's there (other than, you know, King's blood). Her only purpose is to make us feel sorry for her so she'd make a perfect victim e: I'm thinking of the Iphigenia motif here

The HBO Go interactive viewer for this show is pretty neat. I like the little behind-the-scenes and story tidbits they give along the way, and they interconnect everything to the Houses and locations for those having trouble sorting that stuff out.

I don't see myself using it when first watching an episode since it would break up the pacing, but it might be fun for a rewatch.

holy shit you too, it was that interview with that lady right? It clearly said spoiler in the video but i thought it was for the current season.

He did it in two separate interviews >:(.

I had the same thing spoiled for me. I was watching all the thronecast interviews during season 2 but not this one since it warned of spoilers at the beginning. So after S2 had finished I went back to it and it turned out it wasn't a S2 spoiler but a book spoiler...
