I have a bunch of IRL friends that collects games, but rarely plays them. I know how you feel. They'll look everything up from cutscenes to endings.
They know endings to games before I complete them.

I just woke up and was having fun catching up on all the post since last night till I saw Stumps post.
I know I haven't mass added people on here; most the peeps I've added have been really cool and I have done it that way for a reason. But, if you are on my list and you were actually offended by the (what I consider tame) jokes in here regarding "lewd" (that poke more fun at than participating in), you probably don't wanna visit my town.
On current topic... I know my best pal is going to be playing. My finacé hasn't committed yet. Everyone else will be a surprised.

Wanna know if AC GAF have more obessive tendencies or play it to relax XD
For me, I don't bother with achievement etc, but will play certain games to the full if I like it alot ala Monster Hunter or Fire Emblem etc.

Ahem... you know I'm obsessive from my Fishing Resort image. (600 hours lol)
Here's another example. My greatest gaming accomplishment of all time. I've finished Viva Pinata with the last achievement that is to "play the game for 50 hours". Read that again.
To those who need more reading help, this is a farming game. 1000/1000 achievements include leveling up to 100 lv Gardener. Getting all of the pinatas. Including their variants and their retarded children. EVERYTHING. DONE. Before 50 hours.

It really depends on the game. I have 100% on NSMB2 and Castlevania: LoS - MoF. As well as beat once FE:A, but planning to beat it again. Also had a good % of completion on OoT, but planning to do it again on Master Quest.
Playing a game for 50 hours isn't hard! I've put several thousand hours into Super Smash Bros. Melee!

Sonic Generations.
Sonic 2 on PSN.

I'm so happy Monster Hunter is on the Wii U/3DS if it had achievements (system side) I'll cry in my comparison to others XD
Couldn't care less.
Only games I've platinumed are HD Collection games (aka beat the game 100% to get a platinum)

Yeah, not every game is listed. Kid Icarus isn't for example, of which I've put in 30 hours. But demos I've played for 10 mins are, how odd!

Oh yeah, I more than loved it, I min/maxed like a nutter. I really REALLY love to play games god mode and then just go in for the kill.
I've completed Xenoblade too. All of the achievements and records for 260 hours I believe. 400 hours in Skyrim, the map was fully explored.
And uh... oh yeah 240 hours in Dragon Quest VII with a complete monster park. :3

Viva Piñata is an incredible game and Rare's best since the N64 days.
A new game in the series would probably push me into buying an XB1. Too bad that will never happen

You choose whatever game you want there. Just tap "Favorite" up at the top of the friends list.
Only games that I really care about, but I generally just get somewhere around 900+ and don't feel like mopping up the last few because they're either boring to get, or super tedious.
If I'm not enjoying myself, I'm not going after the achievement.
