I think that's just an animation fail.

I don't know what show that is though so heck, maybe that weird face is the standard.

lol! Pretty sure that's why it became a meme. It looks like it was on some low budget stuff or they were pressed for time/handed it off to some other animators. I've seen this happen in anime like Gurren Lagaan where a whole episode looked weird. Facial expressions looked like they went cheap and lazy.

Yeah, I absolutely loved that tune. Then when the instrument played a variation of the Wind Fish ballad I felt so accomplished. x)

Heh, and on my playthrough many years back I actually did it after hearing about it...

But I...I had no idea I'd be renamed to THIEF though, and when I re-entered the shop the shopkeeper frightened me so bad!
