I liked her character a lot and the game was a major surprise. I was just browsing for a rpg and the cover seemed animeish and your typical jrpg and whatnot. But that battle system blew me away. Of the older ones, I've only played Phantasia. Absolutely love the newer ones though. Especially Vesperia.
Dawww! Yeah it was my first Tales game and took me by surprise. I really loved the campy/cheesy of it.
Phantasia still remains to be my favorite Tales. However! I have yet to play Abyss, Legendia, Vesperia or Graces just yet. Got some catching up to do.
LMAO. I've uh... yeah heard things. But I have high tolerance for kiddy acting. Its the MOE characters that makes me cringe. (SO4)
LOL, I hear the loading times were pretty bad. I don't mind it personally.
Abyss and Vesperia aren't too bad, they're no Symphonia though.

I love this thread.
I've finished the original SFC Phantasia, which was really good but certainly tough as nails at times! x)
Destiny remains my favourite (I loved both Stahn and Rutee), and I thought Vesperia was great, Abyss was good (3DS version) and Eternia was decent.
Either Symphonia or Graces f are to be my next Tales game.
Do you still need tools?
Go with Symphonia, its not that long surprisingly.
