Does anyone know that if you can send mail to other people's villagers when you visit? It would be kinda neat to find letters convincing animals to move to their town

There was this chipmunk chick in my Wild World town... Actually, she was probably a squirrel, now that I think of it... Orange fur, I believe... Total village bicycle, if you catch my drift...
