Hope for the best and fear for the worst. Crazy times ahead for the industry.
Hopefully the twitter campaign has pushed them towards definitely dropping it.
After ~6-7 years of wishing, you are bound to be right one of these years....
It's bit extreme to expect something about KH3 when the dev team can't release Versus aka FFXV or whatever.
Imo we'll get something like this: new trailer for Lightning Returns (and people will boo) coming out this year, trailer for FFXIV with PS4 version announcement (maybe launch title? It will be based on the PC version afterall).
Then we'll finally know about Versus XIII. Probably now it's FFXV, cross gen and exclusive to PS3-PS4. Coming out 2014.
And that's it =)

I think people are underestimating SE when saying this. But anyway, Lightning Returns doesn't seem that high budget and Versus is being made by the KH team who don't normally work on FF. Both LR and ARR will release this year. I doubt they'd have much work done on a next gen FF anyway, going by what Yoshihisa Hashimoto said last November:

Nomura is used to doing 500 projects at the same time. I'm sure he will manage :3
I've always felt that Tretton came off as the most genuine. Sure Cerny is easily the best speaker Sony have had on a stage in recent years, but I don't think he'd make a great host.
Tretton always seems to be happy to present the conference too, Don and Reggie both come off too much like executives for me (strange thing to say, I know).
I don't think they'll announce a game that's only 2% complete, but it is Square-Enix so that's actually something they love to do.
I just want Versus
Im just going to be catiously optimistic about it, I feel like it wont happen but I don't want to get too excited.
I just hope Versus is a launch title so I can justify buying the thing at launch.
Oh and what do you guys think the price is going to be? Im thinking two models, one at 399 and one at 499.

Agreed. I hope we get Tretton as the lead presenter at this years conference. He always seems very genuine and that makes things pleasant to watch. He doesn't feel like a regular 'suit' on stage.
I'm almost certain that Square is going to have a partnership for 1 or 2 PS4 exclusives this E3. There has been little bits of gossip here and there to that affect. Sony is going to get the Japanese centric developers on board the easiest in terms of exclusives, mainly because so much of the marketshare worldwide in terms of Final Fantasy sales is found on Playstation platforms.

*Final Fantasy Versus 13 renamed to Final Fantasy XV -> Now coming to PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC
*Final Fantasy Agito -> HD now coming to Vita, Wii U, PS360
*Teasing new Final Fantasy title running on Luminous engine for PS4, Xbox 1 and PC
*Final Fantasy 14 now on PS4

If Versus is current gen I still expect it to remain PS3 exclusive. SE doesn't care for Wii U or PC for FF.
