Nope, no 3DS yet. But your FL does stay intact if you have one already, and were to transfer to a new one.

You can tell them not to in this one! They'll tell you they want to move and when and you have until that date to encourage/discourage them.
Yeah, this guy wanted to check out other villages, but I convinced him to stay. You can, however, bully some of the villagers by stealing their wrong delivered mail, or hitting them with your net, or make appointments with them and don't actually go to their house etc. It takes some time, but it kinda works.
You can also complain about villagers to Isabelle, like, you can say that a certain villager uses foul words, or that he/she's wearing the wrong clothes.

There are some really bad characters in this game. Some have terrible personalities or ugly designs. I basically started over because I only liked 2 out of the 9 or 10 villagers in my village.
