I have two copies pre-ordered with Amazon, with the fastest international shipping. The release date couldn't be better, coinciding with the date of my final exam.

I've been playing Mariod 3D Land, too. In world 4 now. Been getting all of the big coins so far except one place. Pretty easy game so far. I have like 86 lives lol.
My lives are represented by 3 crowns. They can't go any higher! x)
Oh, and yeah, I made sure to get all the big coins in every single level. Oh, and if you're planning on doing everything, then make sure you hit the top of the flagpole on every level. That bit me back hard.

Anyway I'm still on the fence. It seems like my kind of game but I really don't have the budget to buy another game. A coworker of mine is buying though, so I should be able to try it a bit...and then break my budget anyway.

If this game 'clicks' for you, you will play it for quite a long time. And FWIW, it's $35, $5 less than standard retail 3DS games.

School is technically out for me in 10 days, but we do absolutely NOTHING the last 2 weeks of school so I'm starting my break early. Eheh.

It's on LinandKo's Youtube channel. Basically if you win, you get to be their friend on 3DS (Access to Korean and Japanese events and you can play with them), 300,000 Bells, a rare diving suit, 3 rare items of your choosing, and you get to record a video with them.
It probably sounds really odd if you don't know them, but I've been watching them for quite a while and they've pretty much taught me all my NL info so I'm really hoping I win. I have horrible luck, though, and probably won't...
Nothing really, you'll just see their town at a different date than it should be.

Thanks! It occurred to me as I started adding friend codes from the master sheet, that I wasn't familiar with the possible negative effects of adding those who time travel.

No idea. A few notes started popping up with question marks instead of the drawing. Just now I tried to go into swapnote and it wouldn't even let me open it until I deleted the extra data file from it. :/

One of the best parts of Wild World for me was playing online the first few weeks after launch. It was really fun to watch everyone's towns slowly get better and better as time went on. If someone is time travelling to fast forward the game and has everything way before the rest of us, that's not as much fun. That's really the only thing I have against time traveling.

Meant to post these earlier but ran outta time! Just a couple screens from the game, wanted to show off some of the Nintendo specific stuff from the fortune cookies I've come across so far, and how great the aquarium looks in the museum.
A couple things are obscured there, the Pikmin behind the fire and the Blue Falcon in the bottom left. The fire bar plays the Bowser Castle music from SMB while it's on display.
You can get duds on the fortune cookie draws, the one I had today wasn't a winner (but still nets you basic furniture).

I believe you have to keep posting notes. You get milestone letters from Swapnote Nikki, with unlocking stationary as one of them.
