Well it's just a short tune that will play in different moments; i.e. when an animal talks to you, when the town bell rings to signify a new hour.

This thread has grown! Did I miss any exciting news over the weekend? I don't have the greatest of internet connections at home. I usually have to wait till I'm at work to catch up.

You can create a tune yourself with a limited amount of notes. It's the tune you hear when the click strikes 12 every hour, or when you speak to other villagers. (as well as other places).

You can test your tunes with the old Melody Maker. We assume it's the same in New Leaf.

Wut...? I think it's safe to assume one AC game per Nintendo system considering how well they sell. It's just the wait for this one has been particularly excruciating.

That's like worrying about playing SimCity 4 without having played SimCity on the SNES. The game improves on the predecessors. It isn't a continuous storyline.

Yeah. Usually I don't get excited until the very last moment. Sometimes I even buy a game close to release just to avoid hype buildup, but Mstr. Balls has got me by the balls by hyping me up a month in advance.

Do you think I will gst bored of Animal Crossing quickly like I did with the DS and Wii games? I preordered on New egg last year for $30, but sometimes I have my doubts. The main things Wild World added were not *that* great, to be honest. It's main new feature was the portability. But there was also..

Hybrid flowers
Removed holidays

I dunno, it just all feels a bit lacking compared to how above and beyond New Leaf goes.
