I am living the true Gothic Lolita lifestyle: a small, crappy house because all my money is going toward dresses!

Where are the wigs?! You have to have as many wigs as you do dresses to live the lolita lifestyle.

No, it's the red and black one. I'm painting the inside too. It won't be too hard to mask the screens and LEDs and things, but there is one problem.
When I'm done painting, the face buttons won't have letters on them. They will be literally all-white. That's fine though. I remember them, and it looks kind of cool.
Wouldn't really work out due to the delay between sending and receiving, but they'll probably try!
I like this idea... it should serve as a good deterrent to make people keep from doing that... "Changing their names/town names on a whim". Besides...
I imagine when we establish the column no one will dare to replicate the same name if they would look it up. The spreadsheet that I'm working with Mikor (read only submit form) will have a duplicate prevention on so this can be very useful for people who do not want be confused with others sharing the same name for their town. I imagine we'll have some duplicate names but that doesn't matter... its the town names that are pretty important since it'd show that you're dedicated to that name.
But yeah, I'm just wondering if this is a good idea to include on the spreadsheet. So far I'd think its positive but I'm willing to hear out any negatives.

I endedu p deleting the town because I wanted to start fresh and then I just couldn't do it =\ I think I might boot up the Gamecube one later and play some of that, but part of me also thinks I should just hold off and wait out these twelve long days.

Why don't you leave the buttons unpainted? I mean, they're black with white letters anyway, which would be pretty classy for a white 3DS.

I could also just paint the bottom outside part, keep the top red, and it would look like a Pokeball.
Only one character is the mayor, you can have up to 3 other characters in your town. Your son will play just fine in that, I imagine he's young and wouldn't care about being the "mayor".

It's primarily postive tbh, as you said it makes a good deterrent and slightly less annoymity will also minimise the risk of people ruining another's town. I also like the idea that the town's are very likely a reflection of interest and is likely unique on the forums. Only true negative is privacy issues =/, can't really think too much problems seeing as at least the 3DS friend code as backwards as it is does protect you from trolls or lurking trolls XD

Too good of a point... wonder if I can get my daughter (she's 3 1/2) into it. If me and her play it often enough I think I can trick my wife into giving it a try too... She's so stubborn, it's the type of game she'd love playing if she gave it a shot.

Decided on a name for my Animal Crossing town: Eldorado. And will make it Rich City type to fit the name!

Someone said earlier that the site had security breaches before and poor customer service. From what I saw it's improved, but still considered a banned site.
In 2008 they had quite a few problems which ultimately led to their users credit card information leaking out.
Yeah, but I'd like to start with a bunch of nice villagers. I also heard that you can persuade them to stay in-case they want to leave...
I dunno, at this point I'm believing anything being told in this thread.

Yeah, I seem to remember they did a couple of years ago, actually. I get a lot of stuff from there. The only annoying thing is that when you change your credit/debit card your first two orders have to be sent to the card address.
I finished Vanquish. I kept wanting to stop after every mission in the last two acts, but I kept pushing through. I am glad. The game was great, and I'd love to go through it again, now that by the end of the game I finally got a handle on the mechanics fully.
12 days and counting, though. AC can't get here fast enough. I've already loaded my $35 into the eShop in wait.

Huh. I bought Vanquish for peanuts a while back, need to motivate myself enough to finish it... and the bajillion other games I haven't finished.
I can't be bothered to reset, I'll be too eager to play. It's always fun having a villager around that you hate anyway, you can hit them with nets, dig elaborate pitfalls for them, and send them abusive letters. Like this uppity bitch;
This is true and I'm positive about it as well.
So when you start a new game, can you see all of the villagers before hand, so you'll know if you have to restart or not?
At the end of the game, I had five and a half hours logged. It felt a lot longer than that, and that's not a bad thing. I think I'm going to do a replay here in a few days, see if I can do it in one sitting.

I also don't get the city restarting. You can't choose your neighbors, and eventually you'll find someone else you like.
