I personally wanted Type-0 more than Versus. Not that I am not hyped for Versus or anything because I think it looks fantastic...but man I really really wanted Type-0. Time to let go I guess :(
 
If it has been moved to the PS4, then hopefully Square immediately puts their new transparency approach to work. They should release a video of the developers talking about the development and why it moved to the PS4, similar to how KojiPro's video talking about why Platinum took over development duties for Rising.
 
I would like to see Lightning Returns on PS4 as well. If I'm paying $60 for a game that's coming out in Fall/Winter, I might as well buy it for the PS4.

I assume you mean attending E3. So there's a few things wrong here.

1) You usually get into E3 by filling out a online form on e3expo.com.

2) If they accept you, you will need to go through the process of emailing them the credentials they ask for through email. In years past it was faxing which is odd for an industry like ours ;P.

3) They will email you back regardless if you get a badge or not letting you know what's going on with your badge, accepted/denied, etc.

However there is a problem with what you're asking.

A) You're asking way too late. The deadline has passed for both members of the industry and press.

B) You don't email E3 expressing your interest to attend. They have a step by step process of accepting and denying people.


Now if your ONLY talking about the Press Conferences, those are for press and very select members of the industry. Trust me when I say the press conferences are more enjoyable from the comfort of your home then sitting in some random area in a theater or arena and trying to look at the screen to see what they're showing.

Now the show floor is the actual exciting part about E3. This is where you actually get to play the games, network with other industry people and just have a good time. The magic of E3 is still in the show floor and its still awesome. Even last years was pretty awesome.

Rule of thumb E3 ALWAYS starts the applications around December every year so visit e3expo that time every year to apply for a badge if your a member of the industry. If your press the application process usually starts a little later. I hope this helped.

I'm a journalist so I have the "press" thing down. I've had my expo badge for several weeks now.

The issue is the Sony's press conference, I've heard back from everyone but them.

Anyway I don't see this happening at all :P This is a company that hides trailers for general public and doesn't release them months later

Replace the story with lil more meat and more adult stuff, add few things here and there, improve battle system and you'd have a badass current gen FF game.

I at least finish XII and XIII , Ni No Kuni battle system was so boring i gave up on the game .
 
Holy crap I don't think I've seen that Versus footage before, looks great. I wanted it before, even more now. SE, consider me -somewhat- excited.

I'm trying to temper the hype right now - plenty of reason for hope, but too many bland E3s in the past for me to get carried away. Plus I can't watch the damn thing live because 2am. I'm hoping Sony clear the decks for Vita/PS3 either before the conference or quickly at the start and move on to PS4. Make me happy Sony.

I think he just means that he'd rather buy games on PS4 in general once it's out. Same reason I'm looking hoping Rayman Legends hits PS4, I know it'll be identical to the PS3 version but I'd rather play it with a DS4.

I'm trying to forget Type 0 exists. We are never going to see it. Never. Ever. EVER. Damn you, Square. I won't believe it until I can purchase a localized version of the game.

Can I ask a question? Do you guys honestly believe Versus is going to be shown at E3, much less as a PS4 game? Is there any more evidence than just the Noctis perfume?

I don't know. I just feel like this situation is all too calculated for Square to finally re-unveil Versus after all this time without some monstrous catch. Especially considering the cold shoulder they gave Sony for basically the entire generation.

THIS! It would be good if they start being more open about development starting with this game.
