Can't wait for this, I took 2 days off for e3 to bask in all the gaming goodness ...or to swim in tears either way it will be amazing this year!

Me too! Took 3 days off from work just so that I can follow everything that's happening related to E3. Can't wait.

Oh and thanks for the warm welcome guys.

for the UK crowd ;)

Brilliant. You've set yourself an extremely high bar in terms of inventiveness with the first two. Eagerly anticipating the next eleven. :)

So do you think there will be any western 3rd party exclusives?

Final Fantasy is nice and all but I would rather have a exclusive from a developer who has made a game I cared about in the last 6 years.

You guys think it would be possible to play local multiplayer using Vita. One on the big tv screen, the other on the vita? I think it would be a nice feature, but is it technically possible?

So can we expect some PS4 exclusive games developed by external studios beside Ready at dawn ? Playstation 3 era has Lair, Resistance and Heavenly Sword, for example.

Microsoft's show is at 9:30 and Sony's at 18:00. So 17:00 in the UK and 02:00 for Sony's. Hmm, working nights that night so I should be able to see both, or at least the immediate highlights.

I think so yes, absolutely. Apparently Sony are "ready to go to war". I expect their E3 presser to be jampacked.

Ready at Dawn

Well I mean from western pubs and not Sony published games we have been hearing hints about since the stone age.

Rumours going around that MS has exclusives from EA, Bethesda and maybe Ubisoft. Sony has Square Enix. If thats it, it looks like Sony might have a bit of a problem on there hands if they cant pull some more strings or send a few dump trucks of money out there.

Its been a long, long time since Square hit something out of the park. I hope they have something else big from a 3rd party locked down on that level just to be on the safe side.

Avalanche Studios (Just Cause, Renegade Ops) has been tweeting and talking very fondly about the PS4. I hope they'll show up on the presser! I don't think that they'll make an exclusive though, nonetheless...

I know you guys are on a final fantasy high but I'd really like it if you took the time to listen to this video against used games if you already haven't.

I find it really weird why people have sided with asshole retailers instead of supporting developers who actually make the games we love. I know we tend to think of the worst possible scenario but if used games were gone the games WOULD get cheaper and sales aplenty over time, the PC market is proof of this and has been enjoying it for years.

Sony has lost a lot of money and they are definitely going to have something that will hurt their white knight appeal come E3. But we have to realise Sony is not a charity and needs to make money in order for developers like ND, Sucker Punch and SSM to continue making games. It's either going to be pay to play online or anti-used game policy and I am strongly for the latter.

If you still feel you will get screwed over with anti-used game policies you have to understand we're gamers we are not going to quit gaming because of our passion for it. So, you either get screwed over and support retailers or you get screwed over and support developers.

Didn't they say that Xbox One would catch up to PlayStation 4?

It seems to me that Microsoft's solution as proposed establishes those retailers as a permanent fixture in the market rather doing anything to combat them. As things are now, I can give or sell my game to whoever I want. As I understand it, you would need to sell your game to a middleman like your local game retailer where both the retailer and publisher would mark it up before selling it back to someone else.

Also I find it disingenuous to imply that "anti-consumer" implies "pro-profit," where that is rarely the case.

Corporate apologists are having a fine debate which remains relegated to that TB thread.

Sorry, Can't find decent FFXI art work. :(

Still no word on televised version of this conference? I can't imagine this being live on Spike TV due to the airtime. I guess I will rely on internet streams FTW!!

Will they be showing both conferences? I've gotten use to to seeing E3 on TV. :/

I usually have two streams open at a time, last year I went with IGN and GameTrailers.

GT is always great because they have the whole SpikeTV show thing going on the entire day, but I always make sure to have another stream loaded in the background on pause incase the GT stream gets too laggy.

The Sony conference will end with an Updated last Guardian trailer that will say coming fall 2013 and flash the PS4 logo.....the crowd will follow up by going fucking ape shit.

The MS exclusive rumors are coming from the same folks who thought X1 would have 16 GB of ram and a 7970 so we'll just have to wait and see. I'm sure both will have their share of exclusives.

Will Sony have their own steam available on the web somewhere? One year you could watch it live via PS3 I think (or maybe it was in Home).

Glad I'm not the only one who took off work haha.

So, if The Last Guardian is a no show, is it officially never going to see the light of day and Sony is merely prolonging the inevitable, or have we already deemed it as such?

No, they are working on it and could easily move its re-unveiling to Gamescom or TGS. E3 is already stacked, and TGL apperiance on those other shows could really elevate them.

I think Sony announcing TLG as a PS4 launch game would pretty much eclipse any MS game announcement.

this gif needs to be used for every E3 reveal/announcement :D

I think TGS is the limit.

that looks stunning. I'm definitely buying a Vita with PS4 (if Vita's price drops as well :P )

I really hope Sony announce a Vita price drop and some better bundles and a bunch of games that make me actually want to buy the console.

I really want to buy a Vita, I just don't think it's worth my money yet.

They'll both have exclusives from third parties.
