Crop milk is a secretion from the lining of the crop of parent birds that is regurgitated to young birds. They are found among all pigeons and doves where they are referred to as pigeon milk.

So he actually is spitting in your coffee.

Thank God I only order black tea.

Just keep trying, one day you will receive a new piece. And rely on those Play Coins for the time being!

Luckily my bf has more puzzles pieces than me, so I can bum some off of him when we see each other. As far as buying them with coins, I ALWAYS get duplicates, even in ones that have like 5 pieces... But every now and then I decide to splurge and try my luck!

The nest used in bird's nest soup are composed almost entirely of saliva with little or no plant material. The soup is made by soaking and steaming the nests in water and is said to be an aphrodisiac and to have various medicinal qualities. The nests can fetch high prices and many colonies are harvested commercially.

Living with 3DS owners is pretty great until you're down to just pinks. Now you have two people who can't catch a puzzle break under one roof.

Oohooh. :D Okay I'll play nice! :3 I'm a huge fan of Zelda anyway.

Shame its not an item though... it'd be neat.

It would be. It's a shame they don't actually have some items like the Cane of Byrna or the Mirror Shield :( A shame really that they didn't go full-on with the whole furniture creation thing.

You could make a texture of the surface of the Wind Fish's egg and use Re-tail to put it on a globe, like how that other guy made Pokeballs.

Wait he store gyroids for you in City Folk?...why lol?

Ditto

And I no longer have any blue pieces to use play coins on lol, wish Nintendo made it so you use 20 playcoins to get a pink piece, 20 so it's not abused too badly etc

Lol oh no! That's a good idea, I'd send it to Nintendo if I were you.

I bet by sunday you people will already have ALL THE FURNITURE and ALL THE EVERYTHING of the game.

And ill be "where´s tom nook again?"

I think MasterBalls be more disappointed by the LACK of the Windfish Egg.

TRUTHBOMB HAS BEEN DROPPED.

?

Well good thing that's not in my tea cupboard.

He serves coffee which you will drink and enjoy dammit.
My town my rules. He's serving tea from now on.

Or just use the numerous egg based items you get at Easter.

Moved some stuff last night and I caught a glimpse of my copy of Animal Crossing for the DS. I thought about jumping in and see what's up in my town now but I'm afraid I'll get too hooked again and play so much I'll lose my hype for New Leaf :/

Are we calling town names already? This thread gets so big in a day that it becomes hard to follow! If we're calling names, I call "Bellview"! Also, Brewster could operate like any number of chains seeing as how there is one cafe in every town. This means that the milk could be real, which means it's gotten from:

For me it's just I've played SO MUCH WILD WORLD. Must be easily my most played DS title.

I'm not really at risk of duping someone else's town name, but I guess just to be safe I'd best call Niwa now.

I shudder to think of what my Activity Log for that game would say if it existed.

I might take a peek but the second I see all the weed that has grown I know I will not be able to stop myself from cleaning up.
I cleaned mine up this past weekend. I have no idea why I did it.

I stopped myself from replanting my hybrids from storage though. I knew I didn't have time to start that up again before New Leaf gets here.

Oh nice, The strategy guide at Amazon went down in price from $13.49 to $12.50.
I think I might go grab this along with my Rune Factory 4 preorder.

Okay, I got a concern to share with you guys. I'm hoping you guys could help me sort this idea out better.

First of all, we all know that there's a risk of troll players and the like. Even if the owner of the system isn't the one trolling you, it could be someone's little cousin or kid. :\ ETC ETC.

With that said, I've learned that when you open the gates at the Train Station to go to other people's towns, you only see their AC character name and Town name. This can rise some flags... obviously.

One, anyone can create names and towns that could copy off of another person to impersonate him/her. If malicious enough that is.

Two, even if innocently enough, people could create plenty of Hyrules to their own liking, but there's also still too many Justins (sorry FearMyWrench) or Johns or whatever that could have that attached so there's confusion involved. On top of that, there's a privacy issue too. We wouldn't necessarily want people to include their real names to the internet really.

With all that said, I came up with an idea of having a rigid no duplicates town name list on the sheet while the character names can be more flexible. I'm sure Gaffers could put their names on there, but like I said, privacy issues to changing one's gender or unable to shorten their GAF name properly could change anyone's mind on their character's name.

So in otherwords, my question is, is it wise to have one column (town names) to be rigid while the other (character names) to be flexible to prevent confusion/malicious intrusion?

All the seriousness in this thread!

You're all about to play a game where you spend real time holding conversations with AI-driven anthropomorphic animals so that you can get furniture from them.

Now, growing digital hybrid flowers, that's serious business.

Animal Crossing is more serious than life. I have no idea why Major League Gaming hasn't picked this up yet.

I think it's important to note that character names could also completely innocently change from what's on the sheet if another player in the same town is playing. Or if someone is playing multiple players for various reasons (e.g. more pattern slots.) I assume that all players in a town share the same friend list because they're playing on the same 3DS.

Town names have a high bar to change—you have to restart your town, I believe. Those are the important ones. Player names might still be useful, though, to identify who in a town is the actual person you want to communicate/play with.

Hey guys, check out some 3ds pixel art I made a while back. My 3DS is actually a white one, the one that's only available in Europe. :> I call this art "My pocket companion".

That's true, I didn't think of that. Thanks.

Yeah, okay I'll make the AC character names rigid then. Town names be flexible because you're right, there's additional players playing in that same town too so there'll be duplicates. I appreciate the input so much Zigg!

Anyone have any other ideas to add? I'm trying to make the online spreadsheet safe for anyone to use to add FCs from.

Maybe have some sort of unique phrase, like a form of password. Thus confirming it is a friendly and not an unknown menace. I am assuming you can kick people out.

A password wouldn't help because it'd have to be published on the list. You could, however, share a password with your friend only. It should be noted that you won't get purely random visitors; they will at least need to be a member of your friends list. But with as many friends as people have in this thread, the potential for mischief rises.

I am assuming you can kick people out.
In previous games, you could indeed kick everyone out, though it would involve a save. If damage was done to your town, your best bet is to flip your Wi-Fi switch off to crash the session; everyone will roll back to their last save which occurred when the last person entered.

Sorry NintendoHeart but that picture isn't very accurate. Where are two vertical screen scratches?
I'm too busy grumbling over the fact I don't have a white 3DS to notice silly things like that.

There's a mark on the top screen of my 3DS but I have no idea if it's a scratch or not, I should probably clean it and find out, but I don't know how to clean the screens.

Bleh, it'll be both flexible anyway. Only issue is that once you input in the info, you cannot edit it again. So it'll be up to me or Mikor to fix it for you. I'll be sure to make sure you READ the sheet and check the character/town names to avoid duplicating yourself lol.

How do people keep getting these scratches? My 3DS XL will be here tomorrow or so and if it's easily avoidable I'd like to know :P

No idea if it is a problem with the XL, but with the original it is a case of the lower screen's border pressing against the top screen. Unfortunately for me it took over a year for it to affect me so I was well out of warranty and quite frankly I only notice it when the system is off and I don't really want to risk losing my data (like swapnotes stationery and streetpasses puzzle pieces) sending it into repair.
