PlayStation Plus Thread: Plus What? PLUS EVERYTHING!

Just added the 3 games to my account via the web store. Definitely looking forward to trying these games out.

Now I just have to wait for my new PS3 to arrive. RIP launch 60GB.

I've been a member for quite some time fellow GAFfer, more than a year, that's for sure.

The thing I had to do was to delete some Game installs, I got a lot of Space for doing that. Heavy Rain, MGS4, Resistance 3, Killzone and many more use a LOT of disk space. I cleaned that and got more space.

Then, I only instal one or two PS Plus game at a time, play them and then delete it for some new ones. I do this to almost all PS Plus game that I only play for the Single-Player.

Also, my Download speed is so fast I have no idea what I've done to my wireless settings but no way I'm going to change them now. 14GB in less than a hour is good for me.

From an update last month about what to expect in May. The oddworld store link was the Vita version and I can't remember seeing it discounted.

It can happen sometimes but it's only been some Megadrive/Genesis games and one special promotion.

Probably not the best place to ask, but I grabbed Ratchet FFA from the Playstation All Stars Sale a while back. Do I need to play online specifically to get Deadlocked?

No, just go to the store & start another download of Ratchet FFA from your download history. You can cancel it right way. That flags the activation of Ratchet Deadlocked in the store & you can download it.
 
Is Kingdoms of Armalur worth the 14 GB download?

I mean ICO is ICO. And a bit of a lightweight, so that's a sure thing. Shadow of the Colossus is a game I've been meaning to try... and now I can. Demon's Souls has the GAF reputation going for it, so why not? Getting brutally killed in games can be funny.

Which leaves KoA. What kind of game is that, anyway?

I remember playing the Demo in order to get some Mass Effect 3 DLC and I'm going to give it another go. The best way is for you to see yourself some Gameplay video instead of reading opinion and then decide for yourself. It's also free so you won't be wasting money if you don't like it.

All it's going to cost is bandwidth, and I think I have another 14 GB to spare. May ends in a few days, anyway.

The impressions I've found looks promising enough to give it a go, at least.

Ah I see fellow GAFfer, did not knew you had a bandwidth limit! Well, you can always wait until June to get it but... June is getting those Yearly games and they might be awesome so it's going to be hard. I'm also going to give a honest try!

I wonder if they are keeping the Yearly games to be announced on E3? Would that make sense?

I got my trust 1mb/s rate, set ps3 to turn off and auto install. Should all be good at in half an hour.

Needless to say I am very excite. So having a shower and a beer. I also got back from the gym after reading it was up. But I did my routine and some extra waiting!

EU psn is so thoughtful it even cares for my health and fitness.

It's fun!

RPG. Lot's of loot and talking, if you want to. Action-oriented. Beautiful environments, exploration is a joy. Heard lot's of praise about the combat but I like the game for it's world. It's got a lot of clichés for sure, but I don't mind that and it's such a lovely made place.

Worth the download.
And if you like it, there's 250+ hours of content waiting for you. :P
 
Servers getting hammered for demon souls I guess. First time I've ever tried to download a ps plus title where the server kicked me out 3 or 4 times. Finally managed it though.
Bring on the online only future. woot¬!

server connection timeouts of guru meditation levels!

Well, it's 300 GB limit each month. Netflix takes its toll on that, though. Actually not sure how much I have left. In any case, all that happens if I breach it is that my net gets throttled for the rest of the month. Which is two days. I think I'll just get it now and have 300 fresh GB for June.

It's fun!

I'm actually more interested in the talking than the looting. Loot has no value on its own for me, I don't find it fun, merely an obstacle to overcome to get to the fun.
 
It took me like three days to download the 9GB Catherine last month. Can't wait to see how long the 13.4GB Kingdoms of Amalur takes at PSN speeds -_-

Ps plus games that come for free are typically highly rated games, 80+ on metacritic I think. Having said that though I'm not sure if it's a great game.
 
I love conversations in videogames, but in Amalur, it can go on for a bit too long. Just like in Jade Empire. The writing and acting quality is all over the place, but never really terrible.
