Sony E3 press conference; June 10th 6PM PT/9PM ET

seein these photoshops and gifs made me try something .

sadly i have no acces to photo shop and i had to do this fast so i used paint and cut and paste .

hope it doesn't get destroyed .

EDIT i shoulve put yoshidas head a little higher but that would have ruined the cerny part.

well, I guess thats what the discount is for. The risk you take of trusting ND when you buy a season pass means you get discounted on them (DLC). Otherwise in your case its probably better to just wait and see if you want each individual DLC.

Looks like a whole new wave of people in the queue got added. I'll be shocked if the neogaf servers hold in the upcoming E3

I desperately want to do a long form subtitle gif for this thread, but I haven't the foggiest idea of how to start. Any advice?

Do people actually communicate when playing solo in MP games? I've always muted everyone while playing CoD before the game begins, I'll usually mute people in my BF squad and the same for most other games.

Nine times out of the ten the only people with their mics on are people that are either flat-out annoying or blaring crappy music through their headset. In my experience at least.

That happens a lot, although muting everyone is a great way to not make friends. Finding good people to play with greatly improves the enjoyment of the game. With BF3 I play with a clan and we're always talking. Call of Duty is the worst for this so I stopped playing that a long time ago.

The mute button is God's gift to women.
 
Kat from Gravity Rush already seems like an unofficial mascot for the Vita. Sexy, but I would argue not oversexualized.

Though she's a bit of an airhead.
 
Doesn't look like it's gonna be broadcasted on TV this year. G4 is dead and Spike/GameTrailers is only streaming it.

But might these things be partly why Microsoft has more dominance in the US over the Playstation brand? Sony need to market big, and Spike TV is free mass advertising.

No, it comes down to primetime television versus Microsoft's time.

They know they can't compete against other primetime shows with a Sony press conference. They'll put on 1000 Ways to Die or some shit instead.

I don't think that there are too many people watching the E3 conferences on TV that wouldn't watch them on a stream. That's basically a hardcore gamer event. They'll find a some way to watch it.

Sony just needs to have PS Blog and PlayStation Store ready to upload the game trailers / demos / etc as soon as possible after the reveal. Get it onto the net in high quality and onto people's PS3's and other devices quickly and painlessly.

PSN E3 content (make it a store theme) would be a very good idea... and maybe even special free PS+ bonuses to draw people onto PSN during that time.

I mean, at least, that's how I would do it...

Still pretty bad. Even a 20% drop in viewership is a knock against Sony.
 
6PM PST = 9 PM EST, so that means, most of the prime time shows are on. Most people probably wouldn't care, due to the EST time. Makes sense it's not on Spike.

MS won't have it easy either. They are going against Apple's WWDC conference, which will surely gather most of the attention of the tech media.

About to get Vita'd? Can you name a major third party exclusive on PS3 other than Ni no Kuni or MGS4?

Of course the PS4 won't get many third party exclusives, nor did PS3, nor will PS5.

The PS3 has had quite a few big exclusives in Japan. Yakuza, Tales, One Piece, JoJo, Gundam vs. etc.

i think that is one huge reason why they got the media stuff out before e3 because they can be trumped by Apple at e3 in that department. at e3 they will focus on gamers as they will tune in to them instead of apple.

In Japan sure, and big in terms of the Japanese market, but for the most part, meaningful third party exclusives didn't happen this time, and they won't happen next time.
