I believe the current plan is to have users re-submit their info. We will be collecting additional data such as Native Fruits and Town Ordinances, and I'm certain there are people on the existing list who might be having a last minute change in plans on purchasing the game right away, or changed their mind about having certain folks add them, or etc.

Ultimately, that decision is up to Philia, as she'd be the one putting in the work to copy all of the data over onto the new list, as well as manually updating each entry with the new information.
 
Loving these Swapnotes guys. :D Keep it up. Does anyone have any of the Pokemon and/or Dragon Quest stationary? If yes, could you please help me unlock them? Thanks muchly!
 
I'll be buying the Animal Crossing 3DS-XL bundle. This is my first ever Animal Crossing game, so any tips for a newcomer? Should I just roll with it? I'm sure there will be a tutorial.

Yeah, the games are really good at accomodating for newcomers. They make no assumptions about players' prior experience with the franchise, so you'll be fine :)

There won't be in the traditional sense, but there will be certain events to guide you... It's very open world, you just kind of roll with things and do how you want. Fishing, talking to animals, visiting towns, etc... it's all about taking it at your own pace.
 
I can imagine myself cutting my friends list down to only people who I'm really used to after some time in Animal Crossing, and then adding more people in anticipation for the next game I get hyped for.

There's lots of people on my friends list right now that I definitely don't want to lose.

Good lord 200 people. I have 74 confirmed friends, 6 pending, only 11 ladies, and the Swapnotes are non-stop. I can't imagine what 200 friends would be like. Ninty definitely needs to rectify this though, its silly.

Does the Wii U have a friend limit that low?

To be fair, most gaming platforms currently available have similar limits in place, or worse.
 
My body is ready. It's been so many years since Wild World. Getting the downloadable version mostly because my 18 card case will run out of slots if i get the physical version. Plus, easier to carry around!

WiiU limit is also 100, though you can 'follow' up to 1000 on Miiverse.
